Vegetables required
White pumpkin 100gm
Beans 100gm
Carrot 100gm
Nookol/turnip/ geddekoosu 100gm
Clusters beans 100gm
Suvarnagsdde/ elephant foot/ yam 100gm
Seeme badane/ chow-chow 100gm
Ridge guard 100gm
Soaked groundnut 1 small cup
Flatten beans little
Tomato 2
Jaggery little
Tamarind pulp
Hing
Kootu powder ingredients
CORIANDER SEEDS 2 BIG SPOONS (MISSED IN VIDEO0 KINDLY ADD
Byadgi chilli 7-8
Fenugreek 1/4 teaspoon
Lg hing 2pieces as shown in video
Pepper 1 1/2 tea spoon
Cinnamon- 4 pieces
Urd daal - 2 tea spoon
Bengal gram - 2 tea spoon
Dry coconut - half
Freshly grated coconut - half
Mustard less than 1/4 tea spoon
Turmeric 1/2tea spoon
Curry leaves
Oil little
Toor daal : 1/4 kg
Ghee 2 spoon

@@ManeManeRasadoota his recipes are one of the most authentic ones on your Channel and the next closest to his is are the Momos recipe from Sahakarnagar…guys who speaks almost perfect Kannada… I do appreciate other recipes including Chethan Raos…. They are all good but SGK is the best …and coincidentally I lived in Hanumanthanagar Ballekayi mandi from 1990 to 2004 😊 Pre 1980s this was a graveyard….😀filled with mosquitoes 🦟 and graves Pre 1990s most of the Hanumanthanagar were still predominant with the gowdas… post 2000s were predominant of the Marwaris

Very Interesting! Kootu is an aristrocatic dish. Great explanation of the preparation. I have Padolkaayi in my fridge, I shall prepare my mother's recipe of Kootu.

I think you have forgotten to add Corriander seeds & little jheera! In our recipe, we don’t add mustard, methi & also cinnamon. I personally don’t use jaggery for sambar or kootu as it gives a sweetness. I feel there should be difference between sambhar & Kootu & I add tamarind after tasting kootu only as an option! We use jaggery only for gojju! Recipes differ from one family to another!
