The racing pigeon sputnik new pigeon trap is finished in this video and installed on our small racing pigeon loft!, we prep the pigeon loft ready for the hot summer ahead!

Looks awesome! Keep an eye out for those plastic plant saucers on special, my bunnings had them for $4 on clearance and I wish I'd bought more for my birds, they clean up so easily and are really UV stable.

yes i used them last year, the grey ones from bunnings they dont work with my nest liners so i got more of the proper nest bowls they are only $7

@@ManeyPigeons Yeah they're raised in the middle so don't make good nests, but they are the perfect size for a bird bath.

Only question i've got is,you must have a real loving wife,allowing you to spend so much time with your pigeons and building stuff. Sure whish mine was so nice. Whahhaha😂 great job man,it really looks nice. Cheers

using the sputnik,,,,do u still have to add one of those alumnum barb entries for birds.....if not ,what keeps birds from going back out the entry slots.....im new at this type of entry

Thank man IV always wondered how a Sputnik works .IV bilt your traditional hallway in the middle type loft but now I'm starting from scratch and I'm considering something like yours as shown so tell me are u able to race with ur set up ??

Yes i am giving it to another new starter when i head up north to pick up my red check vanloon 😂 just got to get thru the long weekend of night shift 😴😩

Sir the pigeon will go inside means they will come out of the same trap ha the trap Dore was safe or not then the up trap the only incoming or out going ha

Really nice design! I may do something similar bc there are no aluminum Sputnik traps available for sale here in the US! How do you clean it with the fine mesh wire included underneath?

i soak the poop with water and then when its soft i spray it with the hose
