We appreciate the review, which was a very helpful in many ways. But one crucial correction..... the head you're showing is the 502A, not the 502AH. That's important, because the ball which allows the head to be easily leveled only exists on the 502A. The AH model has a flat base without the ball.

Thanks for your review! I'm wondering how i can test this video head (I just bought from Amazon Warehouse) without a tripod with me.... Right now, i observed that the red drag ring only turns 90 degree and not more than that. Is it NORMAL when it's not the video head is not connected to a tripod?

When I checked on B and H, it says those legs are discontinued.

Hi guys, Do you still recommend these legs with this 502a head for A7iv with Sony 24-105 f4 G and Sony 200-600mm G ? I was recommended the 290 aluminium but wondering if I should get the 055 like you show here. Cheers
