Matthew.... the short answer to your question is yes, it will be the best. You can use the 502 for DSLR cameras and get great results. The 504HD, however, will give you a little more latitude and control, especially if you are going to have any add on hardware to your camera that will add weight. We would be happy to quote you our best price on this tripod. There is a $150 rebate on the 504HD that is available now until the end of September. Please let us know.

Great explanation of the differences and the 3/8" socket for accessories is cool!

2:42,Thank you very much for tip on locking mechanism.I was going to get rid of my older,(never used),Manfroto 700RC2 video head. Locking mechanism was interfering with my Nikon D610.

I would like to see all three tripods legs and how they work and look. your video has them cut off at the bottom. would be nice if you could include shots of the whole tripod body while your talking.

Hello, I am not sure if this has been discussed before, but you mentioned that the 504HD supports up to 20 pounds. I have also heard that it's maximum weight support is 16.5 pounds. Does it support 20 pounds?

How is the bubble light powered? Is it like a watch battery inside the tripod that needs replaced every few years??
@TakeOneFilmVideo7 жыл бұрын
Yes, exactly. It is a watch battery. The 504HD may have a few run in series, best I remember. They do last for quite a while.

I came across a used Manfrotto 503 head with sticks, I own a C100 Mark II and was wondering what your thoughts on the ability of the head to fully support a fully rigged C100? I know the 504 can easily handle it, I am just curious if the 503 would be able to handle it.

Is the 500AH and the new 055Prox3 a good combo?
@WarlordDestroyer10 жыл бұрын
I'm between the MVH502A or the 502HD, one of them with the 546GB legs to use it with my Blackmagic Cinema Camera 2.5K EF, but I'm not sure if it's a good combination. I would go for the 504HD, but the budget is tight. ¿Can you help me with this one? Thanks.

What did you choose? And was it the right choice?

The background is cluttered. It's difficult to see the tripod features.
