Fun fact: The anime Fullmetal Alchemist was made before the manga was even finished so it doesn’t go along w/ the manga as much as Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood does I’ve read the manga and brotherhood goes along w/ the manga 100%

I honestly loved both versions. FMA was the first Shonen I watched to completion so it has a special place for me. Whereas, I watched brotherhood when it came out and I was excited about that too. Either way I cried like a baby.

Would highly recommend both to anyone, but watch the original first as Brotherhood assumes you've already watched it by skimming through the first 30 or so episodes in just 13.

*as a kid that didn't knew anything about anime ,back in 2007 or 2010 ..... I realised, I already have watched many animes without even realising that they were anime ,those were dragon ball Z,Ultraman,doaraemon,Shinchan, kiteretsu,Naruto,ninja Hattori, Pokémon.

If you are in the US, try Thrift books. They are pre-owned but I got several different series off that site and they're in pretty good condition.
