Ahhh, saviors cafe ends at 5 volumes! Volume 1 finally came back in stock for us in the UK so i also finally managed to pick it up!

Ahh every time I watch these videos I start to miss living in the US, I wish I could go back just to visit b&n and kinokuniya again lol also yes, the Apothecary Diaries is such a great series, and it’ll only get better in the future!

I’ve come back to your channel recently and I couldn’t be happier! I was actually thinking about going to Barnes and noble today! Also, I have a recommendation. It might sound kinda Stupid but it’s called gothic sports! It’s about a girl who is not aloud to play soccer at her new school because she is a girl so she try’s to make her own team. It’s only five volumes long and it’s really good!

One manga I wish was still available is MARS. It is the story of a shy quiet girl and a bad boy racer falling in love with each other and dealing with all the obstacles that try to break them. I've read the series from my library so many times I've lost count. It is a 15 volume series and there is another one called MARS: Horse With No Name which is almost like a prequel but considered volume 16. The only place I found it for decently priced was ebay and it was 44 for the set. I am debating getting it on ebay honestly.

I really liked dinosaur sanctuary! I would highly recommend it haha. Bad boys happy home is a BL manga but it does have some darker topics that made me uncomfortable, so do be careful. I did enjoy the earlier chapters but when diving more into the characters backstory, there’s abuse and non-consensual situations.

@@purplefrogYT its set in a world where Dinos have been brought back successfully, think Jurassic park. So it follows the protagonist who begins her dream job working as a dinosaur keeper at a Dino park. It explores the different types of Dinosaurs and speculated habitats,rearing habits that would need to keep these Dinos ( I heard the mangaka worked with experts to create this world). So essentially a dinosaur keeper slice of life. If you’re like me, who grew up dreaming of becoming a Dino trainer, this would be for you. Haha. My apologies I’m not the best at explaining the manga in a succinct manner.

Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for a reprint of the first volume of the Made In Abyss anthology. I lost my patience waiting for volume 11 of the main series to be released, so I decided that I wanted to check out the side stories. Unfortunately, I can't find the first volume anywhere. While watching this video, I caught a glimpse of literally every volume except for volume 1.

I've been eyeing that omnibus volume of Azumanga Daioh for over a year now. I never watched the original anime, but I've heard great things about the manga. Just, for a 4-koma comedy manga, a 3-in-1 omnibus is quite a lot for just getting into it. I would recommend you pick up Land of the Lustrous. It got an anime back in 2017 that was beautiful, but the manga has such a striking style to it. Really great seinen series that deserves a season 2 sooner rather than later. I caught up with the manga for the return from hiatus back in the summer, and a new volume just came out in Japan- volume 12. Volume 13 will most likely be the final volume, so it's an exciting time to get into the monthly new chapters.

I keep getting recommended these videos that are just bookstore walking simulators and like honestly I could go to b&n and walk around without buying anything and it’s the same experience lmao, who are these aimed for? People who can’t access bookstores/can’t browse online for what titles are out?

It's a type of video people enjoy. Some people can't leave their home due to health or other things; some people like to watch what other's tastes are with series when there are also hauls. Some can't afford to go and buy books or don't want to give into the temptation to shop so live vicariously through others. There are many reasons why this format is appealing to an audience. :)
