I know your gonna probably look past this but gantz is super underrated. It's not as complex as berserk or vinland but the art and sheer level of fun and emotion will keep you engaged. Just take a break after the Buddha incident

you should pick up and read Devilman, the 1972 manga by Go Nagai. it's the ORIGINAL action manga, and created many of the tropes and archetypes of the action manga genre of today.

I’m really enjoying Tokyo Revengers, also as someone who also started on super hero comics I find My Hero Academia to be a really fun play on western super hero comics

Dude, what an epic haul! Let's kick it!. I've been wanting to dive into Sakomoto days as well. DBZ is soo nastolgic for me as well. Hells Paradise is nice. Chainsaw Man is great. Those boxsets are dope as hell. Amazing pick ups and choices. You got to get a bookcase now for them. Unlike comics in a box. Displaying your runs is a manga head thing.

Thank you Marco, that is a great suggestion I will definetly need to organise my collection, and give it a proper home. Some of these manga I just started reading are down right incredible. Especially Chainsaw Man, simply wow, and Sakamoto Days has been a blast too. Looking forward to sharing my thoughts in the coming weeks, let's kick it!

manga is top tier my man, the writing goes far above comics in my opinion, and dont even get me started on the ACTUAL character development that occurs in manga, the art is ALWAYS better than comics. i mean 9/10 times manga will look better in my opinion. manga is FUN to read comics feel like a chore besides the odd issue here and there thats really interesting. and combat and choreography, yeah comics dont ever even come close to beginning to action as good as manga did in the early 90s and its only gotten better. dont get me wrong i dont hate comics. but they are just plainly inferior in every single aspect in my mind. also bro having your girl be represented by makima might of seemed like a good play to someone who hasnt read chainsaw man. but bro you just basically implied your girl hates you and uses you for furthering her self. and uses everyone around her. makima is a terrible person. and also bro i would NOT start reading all those series at once holy christ man you're gonna be so fucking lost. manga is WAY more complex on the world building and amount of relevenant characters and power systems, i would STRONGLY recommend only reading 1-3 at a single time finish a series and move to a new one so you can actually absorb the story. theyre not comics i can read 15 runs at once in comics and no issues theyre all so simple to understand. manga is the opposite. like you're reading blame and berserk. those 2 alone you shouldnt be reading anything else. BLAME is incredibly deep and you need to put alot of thought work in yourself to make the story whole with contextual clue in the art and by dissecting vague dialogue that characters share. berserk is just a massive epic in its own that deserves to be read by itself with no distractions.

Manga is really something special Kawaiihaki, and I am just coming to grips with it. You raise a lot of valid points, and I'll be realising all of this along the way. OMG I really did my girlfriend dirty hahahah, mind you, she was keen to be represented by Maki, so I just went with it. BTW, Chainsaw Man is so much fun, I'm several volumes deep, and it's been one hell of a fun rollercoaster. I think you are right, after having a taste of these series, I will hone in and focus on a few at a time, otherwise I will be convinced Denji and Guts just fought Frieza in the Hidden Leaf Village haha. @@comiccasper3053 you're in for a wild ride my friend!, chainsaw man is the only one of the series you got that let me down in any way, i wont spoil anything just chainsaw man loses its pace after a bit and starts to get a little dry. but hellsing is a super fun read, and berserk top tier for sure. BLAME is incredible just don't go in expecting the story to be handed to you through extensive dialogue explaining how the world is the way it is or how powers work, or even who anyone is in general. Im currently reading comics right now as i only read one medium at a time, im reading through the X-treme x-men omnibus by chris claremont. its really well done, and may honestly be up there with some of my favorite comic stories, cant believe ive never heard anyone praise or recommend x-treme x-men.

@@kawaiihaki2480 Oh I remember X-treme X-Men, I distinctly remember the artowrk being great! I can't say much for the story as I owned the single issues here and there, so I never had enough to make a cohesive story, I'm happy to hear it being a worthwhile read.
