Most of original Udupi recipes are time consuming and not that tasty also - neerunde, pathride, pundi, akki kadubu, buns, golibaje, rambha paaka etc etc. What sells & popular in Udupi hotels are actually Blr-Mys side dishes like Idli, dosay, vade, uppittu, bisi bele bhaat, saagu,etc.
