MANGO PHIRNI
Ingredients
1 litre milk
3 himsagar mango
100 gm gobida bhog rice or basmati rice soaked for 1 hour
2-3 tablespoon sugar
salt if necessary
1/2 tablespoon green cardamon powder
finely chopped mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, raisin pistachios) for use and garnishing
Method:
1. Boil milk in a deep stainless steel pan
2. Grind rice into smooth mixture , Add to boilling milk ,mix and cook till reduce , add suger and mix it melts.
3. Sim heat , add mango puree , mixed nuts , cardamon powder and mix well.
4. Switch off heat , put it serving bowls with garnished nuts and refrigerate to chill.
5. After 2 hour serve it like ice cream.
