Finally I can post the video of the ALL-GRANE IPA BEER with MANGO that I tasted in the PHILIPPINES.
Very easy recipe to make, perfect for summer but also for those who love fruity beers. I put some links here in the description for those who find it difficult to buy the ingredients and equipment to prepare craft beer at home.
If you would like to support the channel, do not hesitate to contribute to the purchase of the necessary material ;) thanks in advance

I tried your mango beer recipe without HOPS. All procedure as you mentioned in the video but instead of HOPS, I used Coriander, Orange skin (thin outer skin taken out with potato peeler) and lemon grass in the following proportion. 1. I use all the recipes and quantities as per this video. 2. Roast 100 gram coriander 3. Take roasted coriander, around 10 orange peels (may be 50-70 gram) and 4 lemon grass. 4. Take 2 cheese clothes and wrap above spices in two portions and make one smaller and one bigger spice balls. (bigger one twice in size of smaller) 5. While boiling wort, put smaller spice ball from the start and bigger ball after 45 min of boiling. (Boil bigger spice ball for 15 min only) 6. Remove both balls from wort before putting it in fermentation. It came out pretty good. I recommend you to adjust spices as per your taste. Hope you will try this recipe in your channel. I really want to see your SPACTECULAR HELICOPTER hand gesture on this.

I wouldn't call this an IPA because it barely has any hops in it. I would just call it a mango ale. Also I would rather use some American hops instead of the fuggles because they would compliment the mango flavour better. I don't think you need to use a secondary fermentation, I would just leave it in the primary longer, and add the sugar straight to the bottling bucket, so you will have a more even carbonation. If I were you I would look into re-hydrating the yeast first because if you add dry yeast directly to wort it will pretty much kill half of the yeast immediately, because the yeast cells are weaker due to the drying process, and can't keep all the sugars out, which than will kill most of them. howtobrew.com/book/section-1/yeast/preparing-yeast-and-yeast-starters

I dont get it. Why did you take the mango out? The yeast would have had the opportunity to eat those sugars. I understand that the 60min boil surely did extract some juices out of the fruit but there should some still held in the mango. I this recipe is nice and i will try it next time i brew!

@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato I would say 6g per liter of beer for each herb/spice, although as they don't give the strongest flavour you can kind of mix and match. if you are not sure, look up gruit (pronounced: the same way as "fruit") beer, that is a type of beer made without hops and instead with herbs and spices. I also had another question if you don't mind, I would like to malt my own corn but I live in a rather cold country and it is still winter so how do I stop the germination as I can't put it out in the sun? and also can I just use standard popcorn or does it have to be a particular type? thank you in advance.

It can be a useful way to make the beer clearer (it’s called racking) but it’s not necessary and the negatives outweigh the positives, it’s common to disrupt and actually stop the fermentation when racking (don’t bother)

Add more sugar. But 9 percent is the highest percentage that you want to go. After that you are killing the yeast with the alcohol. It is possible to get yeast that will go up to 14 % but the beer tends to taste funny

@@bloodyricho1 may i as ask you please, how to make it without alcohol?
@brewathomeindia3382
@brewathomeindia3382 4 жыл бұрын
Hi Kavin, There are 2 Factors contribute to alchohol level in your beer. 1. Amount of fermentable sugars 2. Your yeasts ability to tolerate alcohol before becoming dormant. While you could add sugar however if you expose your beer yeast to glucose, it will not convert enough Maltose into beer. Its then better to have higher convertable sugars from grains, i.e you use more grains. Yeast- there are some yeast strains that can produce upto 18% abv and even consume both maltose and glucose..like the MJ M-30 or belgian tripel yeast. However, other strains like safale S -04 and S-05 can go upto 11% provided your wort has fermentable sugars and you pitch and ferment at the right temperature. Do follow my channel for more information...

Dish soap won’t sanitize anything. The powder used to sanitize baby bottles might be a so-so substitute. I’ve also heard of people using isopropyl alcohol (75%) as a sanitizer. I don’t have experience, so you’ll need to google it. Failing that, Peracetic acid is what’s commonly used by breweries. Not sure it will be much easier to find, and of course you need to be very very careful with it! Research thoroughly before you use it.

@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato or you could put in the fridge? 😊👍🏻 If you didn't have any fridge or basement, you could buried it in some spot where didn't get much sunlight (under a tree should be OK.. Just make sure no heavy equipment passed by the area you buried those bottles).. I guessed one or two meter below surface would be good enough.. 😆

I’m surprised your beer isn’t oxidized, both your transfer to secondary and to bottles looks less than ideal. Get yourself a syphon and a bottling wand perhaps. Cheers!
