Manhattan Clam Chowder with Prosciutto DI Parma!
2 Cans of clams.
10 Oz. Clam Juice.
5 Slices of Prosciutto DI Parma, 1 to eat, the rest chopped for the soup.
1 Cup chopped tomatoes.
2 Carrots, 2 Celery stalks and 1 onion, diced.
4 Cloves of garlic minced.
4 cups of water.
1 Large potato, cut them however you like as long as they are almost the same size.
2 Tomato Chicken bullion cubes.
1 Tbsp. of tomato paste. If you like your Chowdaaaa! on strong tomato flavor side, use 3 tbsp.
1 Tbsp. of chopped parsley. I use the stems. It's a good way to utilize them.
S&P to taste.
Old Bay to taste. Start with 1/2 Tsp. go from there.
1/2 of a red or green Bell pepper.
Hot Seeds to taste.
Spice blend: Equal parts: Dried: Thyme, Summer Savory (You can substitute with oregano.) 1/2 Tsp.
1 Bay leaf.
