Thank you for the work you do. Your videos showed up in my feed one day a year ago and set me on a long journey to me and my people. Opened my eyes. Am loving the journey since then finding answers to questions I’ve had for years. Finding our history which we were cut off from thanks to apartheid’s Bantu Education policy that taught us virtually nothing useful. They said “if you want to hide something from a black person, put it in a book”. They said “you are not from here, you came down from west Africa” but failed to tell us why we came down such a long way from west Africa and why we were there in West Africa in the first place. Then the Dutch settlers, who met us in the 1800s when they migrated north from Cape Town fleeing the British, stole our story. They called the land, that had sheltered our forefathers for centuries, their own promised land, renamed places with biblical names and tried to push us out. To this day they tell us we are not indigenous to this part of Africa, but never mention the reason for their assertion. But, thanks to our brothers’ hard work we have been inspired to find the answers for ourselves. We are just minding our own business, in the rabbit holes of history, deep in - busy reconnecting with our true history, and this Zulu girl is fascinated by the stuff they wrote about us in the 18th and 19th centuries… in their own words, stating that they had found black Jews in South Africa!!
