It's actually quite nice, it might have been overboard if it had gotten renewed, but it's a nice one off series. It's only like 11 episodes that are 20 mins each so it's only like 2 movies long.

That's actually one of the things that was great about it. Bc showing was entirely different than what they were telling.

I watched a few episodes and the VO was as distracting and inane as I'd imagined. I think Annaleigh Tipton is a very charming actress but she seemed to be in a totally diff show. So that's as much as the VO achieved? That sometimes what they said was the opposite of what they were thinking? Really?

Sham Bolic It showed a different perspective. It depicts the inner thoughts of both main characters, rather than a single point of view. It's interesting to see the external behaviour in terms of what people do (what they think they should do) despite the fact that they are often actually thinking the same thing. This isn't something that can be done simply through "showing".

I get that but have you watched The Affair on Showtime? Or the 4th season of Arrested Development? There's more innovative ways to skin a cat.
