“It was the 5th of September-my sister’s birthday, and we were having dinner when I decided- ‘I want to go to Mumbai and become an actor!’
I had the ‘keeda’ of entertainment in me much before that… I grew up devoted to Mr. Bachchan. In fact, as a kid, everytime I stepped outside the house, I’d have my mother write ‘mard’ on my chest-I wanted to become like him.
So a week after I’d made that decision, I stepped onto this city of dreams and kissed it. I was determined to make this city my home and to make something of myself. In the past 18 years since, I’ve had many struggles and obstacles. But today, I can say for sure, ‘Jo karne aya tha, vo kar liya!’”
