Thank you for your insights on the rest cycle. I've essentially been in a giant 7 year rest cycle after I literally caused myself a brain injury from stress from overdoing everything in my life. I lived a large life personally and professionally for about 10 years going super hard. I really feel that I'm still recovering from it 7 years later, I've been on long term disability from my career as an ICU RN this entire time. Having found HD last year and learning I'm a manifestor suddenly it all made sense why I burned out to such an extreme degree. Duh lol! So besides this giant long rest cycle, I do believe that I have smaller ones imbedded in it if I overdo it in any way. My bf is a generator and so he doesn't really get it how for example just cooking for several hours for house guests can wipe me out for a day or two, but it does. As I've been living my experiment for close to a year now, I definitely feel more in tune to when I need to rest and I don't fight it anymore and try to push through. Does this mean I have to sit out from activities at times....yes! but I'm actually much more ok with it now rather than having a really bad case of FOMO. I've learned that if I just take total down time I'll come back feeling revived and interested in life again. Signs I have that I need to rest are easier to see now. For someone who was a big "doer" I actually really enjoy my down time and do things like read, take walks with my dog, go out in nature, watch movies, chat with friends, art, dream up new ideas, etc. Thanks again, you've been a big help! Hey, thanks for sharing this. I’m an Ego Manifestor and I’ve noticed that what I used to see as procrastination is actually me resting and specifically about my authority is intriguing to watch myself whenever I say “I’m doing this”, I move so fast and go so strong that my energy burns completely. Also, this can also apply to 1 big urge that has mini ones within, for instance learning Human design, I can totally see how I go deep down about multiple aspects of it and then I need days or sometimes even a week to embody all that knowledge and restart after a resting cycle. I hope this contributes ✨

yes!! thank you so much for sharing!! Really resonate with a lot of what you said. I also need integration time after taking in a lot of information! Could also be related to your variables, too (right-brained).

Right that’s true, variables are way too details and also bc there is very little info around color and tone I guess, I’ve been digging into the variables at this point, digestion is the only one I have point left, all others point right

@@carolinaamado2 variables have been a game changer for how I approach things! So much to experiment with - and a lot more flexibility for more right arrows :) Like moving around to different places when working, taking in information versus being hyper-focused & taking notes, etc. I find the more right arrows you have, the more time you need to process/take in information & rest. more left arrows = here to do, be more in the grind. Slowing down and doing less has helped immensely & taken the pressure off me to be like everyone else!

​@@NinaEliseh Yeah, that makes sense, I wonder how I'd apply this into my work life, I work in 3 different jobs and now slowly wanting to do HD as a side job as well, however, there are so much info out there But actually with my gate 43 I can't trust them unless I really experience it lol. I'd love to keep chatting with you somehow, I'm live in Rio - Brazil just so you know, and it's kind of hard to find people how wants to dig into this topic (like none lol)

@@carolinaamado2 its just experimentation, trial and erroring. you may have a completely different experience than me and what works for you... you can dive into your main gates (incarnation cross) to start and see how those themes show up in your life. Gene Keys has been helpful for me to understand the gates better. I am taking an indefinite hiatus from my biz for a little bit, but I recommend searching for "human design manifestor" or human design on facebook. There is even a group for ego manifestors :) You can ask any questions, people are pretty engaging!

Hey Nina, very very useful of what your saying. I just got into Human Design and readying about it. I have a 07:00 to 15:30 job and feel exhausted in the weekend but at the same time i have this idea that rest is a wast of time🫣 I know i need to rest but within this rest iam researching, looking into things, gather information about all different things. but you saying that because of this rest the ideas inside your head becomes more clear this sounds very logic tbh 😅 my head wants to move forward but my body is not following that same urge. Allowing my body to rest and also the mind to rest they might aline again to become together strong. Hmm this might make sence as iam saying it haha🤣thanks for this eye opener

so glad it was helpful! Rest is still something I struggle with as well, it simply comes from conditioning at a young age (I would guess your parents are generators, like most!). it's simply a belief system you can let go of and allow rest to be your new way of being. Just follow your authority, and it will never lead you astray!

Are you still living in Mexico?! I'm a 1/3 Splenic Manifestor and I have been getting constant urges to move to Mexico also!

No i am not! I spent about 5 months there. I came back to the US and made the decision to root down & have a home base. Traveling around there was amazing though!! Highly recommend if you feel called 🤍
