Weekday sunset drive around the best parts of Metro Manila in the Philippines. Starting in Makati, to Mandaluyong and Bonifacio Global City. 26:30 looks so much like Miami! Made for high end 75"+ HDR TV's [4K60P 422 10Bit 200Mbp+]. OLED TV for best viewing. Think wide range of natural colors (up to 1 billion color combinations). High clarity in dark shadows and bright highlights.
Starting Point: maps.app.goo.gl/gnXFSbWe5fCHc...
Makati is a city in the Philippines’ Metro Manila region and the country’s financial hub. It’s known for the skyscrapers and shopping malls of Makati Central Business District, and for Ayala Triangle Gardens, an area dotted with trees and sculptures. Ayala Museum houses the Filipinas Heritage Library and craft collections documenting the country’s history. The Rizal Monument is a memorial to national hero José Rizal.
Bonifacio Global City (also known as BGC, Global City, or The Fort) is a financial business district in Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is located 11 kilometers (6.8 mi) southeast of the capital city of Manila. Bonifacio High Street forms the physical core of Bonifacio Global City and is designed as a three-by-three matrix of high-tech offices and residential buildings, retail outlets and pedestrian-friendly roads and walkways. At One Bonifacio High Street, the PSE Tower, which houses the unified trading floor of the Philippine Stock Exchange, the Shangri-La at the Fort, Manila and Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila are also located here. Grand Central Park is a 10-hectare (25-acre) New York-inspired mixed-use development located in North Bonifacio Global City. One of the tower in the area is the 65-storey Metrobank Center which houses the Grand Hyatt Manila hotel and is currently one of the tallest skyscrapers in Metro Manila.

Europe in early spring! - Possibly in Colorado/Rocky Mountains/Pacific Northwest USA while its snowing (ski season). - May discontinue use of this camera used for filming this video. Better quality with other cameras im using. Let me know what you think? - Getting ready to complete a big milestone on a current project that I'll share on the channel shortly. - Let me know what you all want to see next! J

It's not Manila. This is actually a travel through 3 different but contiguous cities in the METRO Manila region: Makati, Mandaluyong and Taguig. Each of these three are cities on their own -- separate and distinct from Manila. Pls note that "Manila" and "Metro Manila" are different locations despite their similar names. Manila is just one of the 16 cities (+1 municipality) in the Metro Manila region (formally, the NCR). In fact, Manila is just a small city comprising only 4% of the NCR.

The Philippines will surely become a Powerful Country in the Future. It is developing too fast. The fact that half of its population are still young or below 20 years old (non working age) . Yes, but only if the government can create enough jobs especially in manufacturing since that is the fastest way to cut poverty based on the experience of more advanced economies. If the government along with the private sector fails to develop our industrial base Filipinos would still keep migrating overseas and this is the reason why we have a low Household Debt to GDP. Our countrymen were able to buy or built homes just from their savings working overseas without incurring mortgages whereas our more affluent neighbors have a huge mortgage to pay.

Some areas in Mandaluyong district in your video (37:03) look the typical Southeast Asian city: chaotic and maybe a bit impoverished, with a lot of people on the streets minding their own business plus lot of unsafe street cables dangling! Then you have the Makati and Bonifacio Global which looks impressive, like KL or maybe Singapore.

Okay, I'm gonna be pedantic here and be an "akshually". But South of the Pasig River @ 41:15 and onwards, is Barangay(think of this as a village but with its own government hall) Guadalupe, which is part of Makati City, but it is outside the CBD of the said City and it gives you an idea of how it actually goes in Metro Manila. A major city would have a CBD but their suburbs look like 30:00 - 40:00. For example Mandaluyong city's CBD is in Ortigas area, which is just about 2 miles away from the parts of the city that J Utah passed.

@@arturoliriorapadas5490it is also not entirely true that indonesians, malay, and thai counterparts are full in it to display this asian ambiance or preserve their cultural landmarks into their cities. Most of their real estate developments are modeled to european/american design. Most of the capital cities in our asean region do actually resemble some of our western counterpart cities. Remember jakarta is not able to preserve its cultural heritage or any cultural landmarks prior to the spread of islam in this archipelago because a lot of muslims view this as idolatry. On the other hand, kuala lumpur does not really excude a strong malay cultural heritage and most of their cultual landmarks is not even pure malay and that is a result of a melting pot of different cultures that reside in the city. Bangkok might be the only city that do preserve majority of their buddhist cultural landmarks and that is because thailand was never colonized by a european superpower. Ho chi minh/saigon, their cultural landmarks are more of like related to socialist landmarks.
