Usually the condenser fan doesn’t start up on the pre harvest until it hits the freeze cycle and pump motor engages as well as condenser fan motor and compressor was already in action. Thank you for your videos and your knowledge very much appreciated. 🤝🏻

I have one that the display is only showing a cursor on bottom left. Makes no ice or even starts up. Look at circuit board and green light on the L-Bin and Red light on the CVD. What can it be? I have had service people come in and get it to work than in about a month or two it stops again. Can't get them to tell me what they are doing to get it back on.

What would cause the pump to turn off within seconds of starting?

The lights on my control board are not working. Bought new control board, lights still not coming on. Fuses are good, power to the board. Machine turns on runs for 10 minutes cuts off. Water is good, machine is clean.

I'm about to upgrade my ice maker for a bigger one because my Hoshizaki km-201bah is too small. I use it for my hot dog business. I've been looking at a Manitowoc IYT0450A-161 from Amazon. They offer interest free payments for 12 months and an extended warranty from Asurion, LLC for an additional 3 years after the manufacturer warranty expires. Would you recommend this machine and warranty? I use roughly 200 lbs a day, but I want one that makes more, because my usage does vary, especially during the summer. Also, what Manitowoc machine produces slightly less ice than the Manitowoc IYT0450A-161 would you reccomend? Thanks

I have a Manitowoc UDF0140A that’s running a 7 minute freeze cycle, causing it to not make ice before the harvest begins. The fan is turning on and off intermittently during the freeze cycle. Any ideas what could be wrong?

in my experience, if the machine wants to makes ice and the water system is dirty, a good clean and sanitize usually does the trick.

Great video. My manitowoc makes good ice but it freezes the bin water for few minutes ( pump cavitats) then starts pumping and harvests. Is this normal?
