Hi friends, accommodation at Manjolai are provided by Forest department. You have to get prior Permission for night stay from forest department. They charge approx 3000/- for accommodation at Manjolai. You can drive in your own cars, but two wheelers are strictly prohibited. The Best season to visit Manjolai would be from November to March For bookings visit : kmtr.co.in

நன்றி. இந்த கானொலியை பார்த்ததும் என் பயன அனுபவத்தை இந்த பரபரப்பான வேலளயிலும் இங்கே பகிர விரும்புகிறேன். மன்னிக்கவும் இது கொஞ்சம் நீன்ட பதிவு. எனக்கு இங்கு அதாவது மாஞ்சோலை செல்ல கொடுப்பன இநுந்ததால் 2011 ஆம் ஆண்டு சென்றேன். இங்கு செல்ல சின்ன பேருந்து காலை 4.30 மனிக்கு திருநெல்வேலி பேருந்து நிலையத்தில் இருந்தது. நாங்க 4 மனிக்கு போனோம். 5 மனிக்கு தான் வண்டி கிளம்புச்சு. காலை 7.40 க்கு போய் சேர்ந்தது. குதிரை வெட்டி என பெயர் பலகையுடன் அந்த சின்ன பேருந்தில் பயணம் செய்த அனுபவம் இப்பவும் நினைவிலிருக்குது. நாங்கள் பேருந்தில் இறங்கியதும் பல இடங்களை வியந்து பார்த்தோம். சிலரிடம் விசாரிச்சதில் கோதையாறு அனைக்கு செல்ல வழி சொன்னார்கள். அது ஏறத்தாழ 10 கி.மீ இருக்கும். அது மலை மேல ஏறும் வாகணங்கள் செலலும் பாதை. ஆனால் எந்த வாகணமும் வராது. நல் வாய்ப்பாக எங்களுடன் அந்த இடம் பழக்கப்பட்ட சிலர் வந்தனர். நாங்கள் ஆவர்களுடன் பயனித்தோம். அவர்கள் கையில் கம்பு வைக்க அறிவுறுத்தினர். அதற்கு காரணம் மிருகங்கள் என சொல்ல என்னுடன் வந்தவர்கள் பீதி ஆனார்கள். நான் வழக்கம் போல அந்த திகிலை இரசித்து கொன்டே சென்றேன். மதியம் ஒரு வழியாக கோதையாறு அனையை அடைந்த போது அதன் அழகை என் கண்களால் நம்ப முடியவில்லை. ஏற்கனவே இயற்கை அழகில் பரவசமான நான் இப்போது உச்ச கட்டத்தை அடைந்தேன். அன்று முழுவதும் சாப்பிடவில்லை என்பதே இப்பதான் என் நினைவுக்கே வருகிறது. தேனீர் மற்றும் சில நொறுக்குத் தீணி மட்டும் அதுவும் குதிரை வெட்டி பேருந்து நிறுத்ததில் மட்டுமே கிடைக்கும். தினமும் ஒரே ஓரு பேருந்து ஒருமுற மட்டுமே வரும். எனவே குடும்பத்துடன் வருபவர்கள் முன் ஏற்பாடுடன் வரவும். காலை 4 மணிக்கே திருநெல்வேலி வந்துவிடுங்கள். அங்கு குதிரை வெட்டி பேருந்தை விசாரித்து காத்திருங்கள். எப்படியும் அதிகாலை 5 மணிக்குள் பேருந்து புறப்படும். அந்த பேருந்து நடததுனரிடம் கண்டிப்பாக பேருந்து நேர அட்டவனையை வாங்கி கொண்டு அதை குறித்து வைத்து கொள்ளுங்கள். முடிந்தால் அவர் தொடர்பு என்னை வாங்கி வைத்து கொள்ளுங்கள். பிஎஸ்என்எல் வைத்து கொண்டு அதில் பேசுவதற்கு போதுமான பனமும் வைத்து கொள்ளுங்கள். மேலும் கோதையாறில் சிலரிடம் விசாரித்த போது அவர்கள் இங்கே மேல் அனை கீழ் அனை என இரண்டு உள்ளதாகவும் நாங்கள் இருப்பது மேல் அனை என்றனர். கீழ் அனை செல்லும் இறக்க பாதையை அவர்கள் கை காட்ட அப்போது நாம் செல்வதென முடிவெடுத்தோம். மேலும் அங்கு செல்ல அனுமதி இல்லை என்றும் அங்கே உயிருக்கே ஆபத்து விளைவிக்கும் பிரமான்ட மனித குரங்கு இருப்பதாக சொன்னார்கள். ஆனால் அதை நாங்கள் பொருட்படுத்தாமல் சிறிது தூரம் சென்றதும் மேல் அனையிலிருந்த துப்பாக்கி ஏந்திய பாதுகாவலர் எங்களை அழைக்க நாங்கள் அவரிடம் சென்றோம். அவர் அங்கே நாங்கள் செல்லவே அச்சம் கொள்ளுவோம். நீங்கள் செல்ல அனுமதிக்க மாட்டேன் என்றார். வேண்டுமானால் இரவு தங்கும் அனுமதியுடன் வாருங்கள் தினமும் ஒரு முறை நாங்கள் செல்லும் போது அழைத்துச் செல்வதாக சொன்னார். அப்போது 3 மனி தான்டி இருக்கும். அதுவரை அடித்த குளிரே ஊட்டியை விட அதிகமாக இருந்தது. நாங்கள் கல்லூரி படித்துக் கொண்டிருந்ததால் எந்த முன் ஏற்பாடுமின்றி வெறும் கையாக சென்றோம். அப்போது அடித்த குளிர் தான் வாழ்வில் சந்தித்த குறைந்த வெப்பநிலை கொண்ட குளிர் ஆகும். அந்த அனையில் பனியுடன் காற்றும் வேகமாக வீசியதால் அனைவருமே நடுங்க ஆரம்பித்தோம். குதிரை வெட்டி ஒரு தனி மலை. அதுபோல கோதையாறு அனையும் தனி மலை அதாவது சிகரங்கள் எனலாம். இப்போது நாங்கள் குதிரை வெட்டிக்கு 4 மனிக்குள் போனால் தான் சின்ன பேருந்து கிடைக்கும். அது தான் கடைசி வண்டி. அந்த அனையின் வன பாதுகாப்பு காவலர் எங்களுக்காக பேருந்தை இங்கே வர ஏற்பாடுகள் செய்ய முயன்றார். ஆனால் பேருந்து குதிரை வெட்டி வர தாமதமாகும் என தகவல் கிடைக்க அவர் எங்களை குதிரை வெட்டிக்கு பத்திரமாக செல்லும் அறிவுரை வழங்கி அனுப்பி வைத்தார். மேலும் நாங்கள் அங்கே சென்ற பிறகே பேருந்து கிளம்பும் வகையில் அங்கே ஏற்பாடுகளையும் செய்திருந்தார். மேலும் எங்களை மட்டும் அனைக்கு உள்ள அழைத்து சென்றார். அங்கே பல பேர் ஙொண்ட பாதுகாப்ப படையினர் இருந்தனர். அங்கே நாங்கள் பார்த்த காட்சிகள் வெளி நாடுகளிலும் கான கிடைக்காத அற்புதங்கள்.

அருமையான பகுதி கடந்த பிப்ரவரி 2021 ல் தேயிலை தோட்ட தொழிற்சாலையில் Office work ah மூன்று நாட்கள் மாஞ்சோலை, ஊத்து பகுதியில் தங்கி இருந்தேன். Forest check post la இருந்து மணிமுத்தார் அருவி வரை தற்போது Road work முழுமையாக முடிந்தது. தேயிலை தோட்டத்தின் கட்டுப்பாட்டில் உள்ள Second check postla இருந்து Road குண்டும் குழீயுமாக இருக்கும். யானைகள் நடமாட்டம் இருக்கும் ஆனால் மனிதர்களை எந்த தொந்தரவும் செய்வதில்லை.....

Bus timings 2.30 am 3 pm 7 pm from tirunelveli, 7.30 am from papanasam 3 Am 8.30 am 1.30 pm 3.30 pm 8 pm from ambasamudram and there is a service from tenkasi around 2 pm. Buses are only up to oothu estate only and no permission / no ID checking when going by bus only ticket is enough. If you have any relatives / friends working as estate employee you can stay in their houses reach morning enjoy and return by the same day. Don't forget to have tea in manjolai tea stall it is the best tea I had in my life

Have been to this place 12 years back... on the way there is a wonderful pool like water body with good depth n the water will be crystal clear, u can the fish n pebbles easily restricted area only forest officer can take you... when we went kutharvetti la ten estate family were living they cooked food for us. We had their contact earlier. The resort which you tell in this video use to be in a very normal condition it was then a PWD bungalow. The watch tower is a awesome place to spend time... at night you will not have guts to step out of the room everywhere there will be mist n full dark... you will not see anyone... awesome hidden green in Tamil Nadu

I had gone on bike trip many times in the 90s...kakachi peak is truly magnificent...And the road to manjolai was a dense forest ...Just loved the drive always..We saw a leopard and a cub once while getting down... Awesome experience

This place has very good tourist potential but tourism develop aana the place will lose it's beauty, there are so many similar unexplored unadulterated beauties in Nellai Tenkasi range.
