The way that six acts 'intelligently' feels really good. Like she understands what the objective is, she does things that make sense in order to accomplish it. When you needed the two power cells, she went and grabbed the second one while you put the first in. Stuff like that makes her feel like a real person almost. She sits there messing around with something while she waits for you to do stuff, she fidgets with some objects like kicking that man with his head in the TV, at one point early on she picked up an object just because you did, like "Oh we're doing this? Ok sure."; and picking up the duck that she threw into the furnace, kinda felt like she just likes the duck. Like damn, that is how you make an NPC partner feel alive, not cutscenes, but subtle behaviours.

When Six picked up that duck toy, I felt like just...this surge of affection. They’re smart kids, but they really are just kids, huh? I love all the little details that Six shows so much. I’ve played this game myself, and Manly missed it, but at the school’s entrance where the playground was, Six will stop by the soccer ball and try to kick it into the goal. That’s just so cute. And I love that they have distinct personalities... like, Six is clearly showing contempt and anger towards the monsters like when she warmed her hands while one of the monsters burned to death, when she cracked the marionette fingers while she waited for Mono, and when she kicked that dead thing that rammed into the TV. Good for her.

I like to think that Mono really has Manly personality, like commenting things, and "hold my hand", and "ok you can stay if you want it's free country"

When you shine the flash light in six's direction, she covers her eyes so as not to be blinded. It's so small but I appreciate the detail.

Manly really likes making sure six is right beside him. Makes sense seeing as she keeps GETTING STOLEN.

23:55 -24:30 Manly is a GOD DAMN GENIUS! This hospital section up to the elevator is part of the demo, and so many people were struggling or taking their time with that section... Manly on the other hand just flashes and sprint through the mobs, and I haven't seen anyone done that.

Idk if anyone mentioned this yet but in the room with the ball, if you threw the ball at the hands they actually throw it back so you can play catch with em. I just thought for a game like this it was a really cute touch!

I think it's interesting that the doctor isn't shown killing Mono and that he's still checking on his patience even though a lot of them are..unresponsive. And the urgency behind him checking the flat line patient was so specific. That plus the rapture/sudden vaporization of most the city leaves me to think that maybe he's not fully aware of what's happening. I don't doubt for a second he will kill Mono tho. Just not intentionally

So like I suspected, it wasn't an issue with an animation that put Six right next to you when exiting the TV, but Six actively pulling you back away. If Six knew so much, it would've helped for it to be explained...

are we just not going to talk about how Six reached out for Mono's hand when she was getting absorbed by fedora slenderman showing how much she's grown trusting people since the beginning? also rip Mono for being so traumatized by fedora slenderman that he couldn't even help her

I love watching people just brute force past the puzzles. "How about I just run as fast as possible?" "How about I just pull this soap box across two rooms?" I think H2ODelirious didn't bother killing the hand or using the hammer in the demo, he just kept dodging and threw the power cell through the window. Puzzle? What puzzle? Just *run.*

I do like how 6 does her own thing at times and gives subtle little helpful hints sometimes I even forgot who the player controlled character is

Every time I see mono and six work together I'm like "aww teamwork they're friends" it's just really wholesome

Manly is the first one I've seen to get through the flashlight levels in the hospital so quickly and smoothly. AND with keyboard controls.

The prosthetic hands being what moved the corpses after you was more unsettling than the Doctor to me; I'm not scared of mannequins or anything, but just having an inanimate object be what is controlling a body makes it stand out. The Thin Man, as he seems to be called, is a whole other kind of weird for me. Crawling out of the TV, having to crouch down to fit through a door frame, his body flickering in and out like static. That's a pretty cool design.

Can i just say the devs did a damn good job on the AI of Six, i've played a lot of games with NPC's that follow the protag and this is by fay the most impressive AI i've ever seen on an NPC, Six acts so realistic and natural that you almost forget its AI, it legitimately looks like another player controlling her.

maybe it's my broken humor, but the way Six just yeets over to the platform without any build of momentum while our boy has to run and jump with all his might and STILL only barely makes it cracks me up @47:03

Really curious about the lore behind the world of Little Nightmares. It's as if something happened to the world, annihilating every human (and most of the other beings). Then from somewhere came the "creatures" that are trying to act like humans, like everything is fine. But we can see, that they are just doing actions imitating that of humans... Yeah, this is a captivating, fantastic concept for a story.

This game, with the hats, would make an interesting MMO. A survival horror MMO where you're just trying to survive, making groups, trying to make bases, and grouping up to get better things to hide with... but if you travel with more people... things are more likely to chase you and possibly even follow you back to base.

Man I love overanalyzing this series. The baddie here is the doctor; aside from what's on the wiki, the fact that the doctor moves around on the ceiling might be referring to the the royal We 'looking up to' doctors, and/or that he 'looks down on' children and/or his patients. The fact that all his patients are either dolls with missing parts or basically corpses held together by apparently living prostheses might be commentary on how doctors look at patients not as people but as systems with problems in need of fixing, more interested in their medical history than their personal stories. After all, patients lie but tests, examinations, and charts don't. He also has graying skin and a lot of bloat, making him look plenty like a corpse, and the symbolism of him getting cremated seems to support this... maybe because of the association with doctors and death? Note: Obviously not my view on doctors in general. Respek yo physicians, especially currently.

I absolutely love how much detail they put into Six's animations and stuff. The fact that she shields her eyes when Mono shines the flashlight directly in her face is funny and also sort of satisfying to me since npcs in other games just blind themselves when you do that. The ai for her seems to pick up on things really well too :)

The prosthetics moving gave me silent hill vibes from that one nurse scene 😭

This seems like a flashback before Little Nightmares 1 with how Six got the raincoat and all that. I'm not sure if Six just lost it after leaving the Maw in the first game or if this is before Six entered the Maw and if it is then the main character probably dies

Food for thought : At the very end. As Six is being grabbed by thin man, she reaches out to Mono -- But Mono didn't even attempt to reach out in return, he just covered his ears and cowered under the bed -- That was Six's last memory of Mono before the tower.. Six will remember that...

The ball you found after being chased by the patients at the 2nd power cell/fuse ( around 31:40 ) Can be thrown to the patients, and they will start playing catch with you. Also, The Doctor supposedly is the one who makes all the mask for every "monster" in the game. Yes, they are masks, as you can see their mask slide off their heads at times. The chefs from the first game even lift their masks to scratch their faces from time to time. Makes you wonder what made them all become so monstrous when the kids still are.. for the most part anyway... fine
