This odd little game has actually struck a cord within me. Back when I first watched Cast Away as a kid, I wept when Wilson "died". I remember my father asking me why I was so sad over a volley ball, and I told him that Wilson was real to Tom Hanks' character. Here we have poor Michael obviously losing his mind from isolation and his guilt over Mr. Bucket getting damaged, and I can't help but remember what I felt when I first mourned Wilson despite it just being an inanimate object. Kudos to the developer for making me take a trip down memory lane.

The person in this game is going "insane" from drinking ocean water without filtering and boiling it first. That's their real problem. They are literally dying of dehydration.

I hate yet love how this crude "horror" game can be interpreted in so many ways. Take mr. bucket himself. perhaps he's a part of Michael's mental state he thought had "died" and he represented as a bucket. its forcing him to kill all his "friends" to wake him up from his fantasy, and him being "kicked" off the island by all the other items is his psyche trying to push him away from all the madness and force him to face reality and try to escape and survive.

"Atleast there faces didn't keep changing" I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but is that like, saying how friends a lot of times end up changing and their personalitys? (aka their faces) And they are not who they used to be? The objects in the game still have the same personality through out, a friend you created cant hurt you, because you made them.

I think the idea is that its supposed to be his friends "sacrificing themselves" to save him (ira) especially since Mr. Bucket refers to you AS micheal which WAS mr buckets name. It could even be representative of him dealing with or getting over his "friends death" (via therapy?) because in order for the island to survive the all have to either die or leave. The island could be Ira (as a person/his personality/confidence/etc) and as the he accepts his "friends" are dead/weren't real/sacrificed themselves for him the trees grow large because he becomes more mentally healthy.

I’m only part ways through this video, but is anyone going to mention how brilliant Manly’s voice acting was?? I always love the voices he gives characters and he’s great at delivering lines, but it feels really, really well done in this video! That was actually just kinda sad. The decent into madness went fast and being alone for so long those really were his friends. The extra passage at the end was even sadder.

Most people would say "eh bootleg game from other good island games music is bad and animations are bad" Yeah that's true but I don't think there's an island survival game like the Cast Away which has multiple characters in it and a horror game.

I feel like this is one of the few games where you really became so invested in it that it was almost real for you.

The ending song gave me serious Glados vibes... ... but theres no sense crying over every mistake. We just keep on trying till we run out of cake. And the science gets done and we make a neat gun for those who are still alive.
