This was such a great conversation! Most of our parents talked to us about what we shouldn't be doing but never the reasoning behind it. Ms. Tamela put it best, when you're giving yourself to others like that because at a young age sometimes you don't know your worth. And you do drag those nasty spirits into relationships with you.

I love this family so much! The kids all carry both their parents energy and character and I think that’s so amazing. It’s amazing how you can see dad and mom in them. The one in black jacket with the sherbet orange inside her hood act just like her momma and the one across from her acts just like her momma and daddy. The son act just like his daddy and the other daughter I couldn’t get a line on her some reason.

I love all the Mann Family Dinners; this episode was definitely on point. I believe a lot of heartache could have been avoided if conversations had taken place. Sometimes we don't realize our valuable our bodies are & we move ahead of ourselves. Unfortunately, my parent's generation didn't sit & have these conversations because their parents didn't have them either. This is a brand-new day, so we must not feel uneasy & have these conversations. It was a serious, yet funny conversation. David Jr. is really funny, he's something else. Thank you for sharing this with us.

This was an informative episode, as usual you all did an excellent job. I'm ready for part 2 of this episode. A lot of true statements; us knowing our worth, taking those spirits with you and double standards, just to name a few. My high school students ask a lot of questions. I tell them to talk with their parents, that isn't one of my many jobs to tell your child about the birds and the bees, no matter how many times I'm told the parent won't talk about it or how many times I feed your child, teach your child how to wash clothes/dishes/cook/use a needle and thread/use an iron/respect themselves and others (again, just to name a few), still isn't my job. Blessings and bring on part 2.

I wish I would have waited. I was looking for love in the wrong places and wrong ppl. I ended up being hurt by many and realizing I found myself in situations that could have went left quick( I'm just gonna say knowing when I said no I meant no) but some relationships weren't like that and I got scared and thank God for having a conscious. Like it was said in this dinner too many soul ties. The years of maturity and even now as an adult I really wish I would have waited and just focused on me. I don't regret having kids with my now husband, only 1 of my kids was out of wedlock. Mind you my husband's dad is a pastor so we definitely heard about this. When you go through things as a child, never living with either parents, being raised by your grandmother and then being adopted u don't understand things and I just tested the waters🤷🏾‍♀️ I'm not proud of it by any means not looking back and knowing what I know now. Kids these days don't get it and definitely gone do what they want. I am a gigi of a 3yr old now by my oldest. Things happen for a reason and sometimes karma will come back to haunt you🥴
