There was beautifully glossy tone in the strings’ unison solo passage in opening movement, but throughout, their golden timbre was a bonus to this gloriously romantic but tightly disciplined performance.

Splendid! Utterly splendid! Better than most "world renowned" orchestras in my opinion.
