El compositor peor tratado de la historia. El genio mas grande que ha dado el siglo XX y no fue lo suficientemente reconocido por ser compositor de peliculas. Peliculas que gracias a su musica fueron obras maestras. Que injusta es la vida a veces. Gracias por todo, maestro. Sus temas seran escuchados y oidos por los siglos venideros. Il mio concittadino Morricone ci ha abbandonati due anni or sono ma non ci ha lasciati. Sarà con noi per sempre. Ogni tanto riascolto un CD con le sue musiche da film e spesso mi viene il magone. Il Maestro era eccezionale in tutto, anche nelle cose, come dire, "leggere": la canzone eseguita da Mina, "Se telefonando" la compose lui. Quando "passa" in TV il film C'era una volta il West mi rivedo con piacere la scena finale che termina coi titoli di coda: mi domando sempre con avrà fatto a temporizzare la musica con la scena (inizia col tonfo a terra della testa di Kheyenne, che nuore inginocchiato). E "Sacco e Vanzetti"? E il tema di Nuovo Cinema Paradiso ? La musica internazionale e quella italiana non si dimenticheranno mai di lui !

They would have had to give him the Oscar every single year that a great movie was raised to even greater heights by having Morricone's music as its soundtrack. It is simply divine music. The hearts which have been touched, inspired, moved around the world are his greatest earthly reward. Beyond this life - his reward is unimaginable, he used his talents to the full.

This must be one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written. The flute at the end is on another level again all on its own. I would say magical if I believed in magic.

Un enorme Grazie al maestro Morricone, che purtroppo non c'è più. Io sono davvero onorata di aver vissuto mentre era ancora in vita, nascere in questa epoca e coesistere con lui è qualcosa che mi fa emozionare. anche averlo visto vincere un premio per tutti questi anni di emozioni è stato tanto.

40年後に読み取った現在でも実に奥が深いストーリーです、、きれいごととはほど遠く、普段は涙などと縁遠い自身ですが、音楽から奏でるシーンは最高の回想録でしょう、トイレの隠し戸から除くその目、デボラと再会のときの真実、ソファーに腰掛け回想に更けるヌードルス、、思わず妻の前で号泣してしまった。

Di fronte a tanta bravura, amore e passione per un'esecuzione da brivido, con una musica unica e meravigliosa, vedendo questi uomini e queste donne impegnati a dare il meglio per chi ascolta, immagino i loro sacrifici, le loro rinunce, le loro privazioni e la loro gioia. Per questo mi sento un microbo, una pulce, semplice pulviscolo nell'aria e mi inchino, mi prostro estasiato di fronte a tanta bellezza. Ennio Morricone da lassù starà godendosi lo spettacolo, certamente compiaciuto della sua unica genialità. Grazie.

Brilliant ! Loved all of the renditions but particually Deborah’s Theme, the flutey instrument captured perfectly the lady vocals from the original version
