We didn’t happen to beat Southampton did we? Driving me insane, the constant harping back to beating Southampton but then we’ve gone on to be one of the worst teams in the league since!! I can handle us losing but it feels like there’s a lack of commitment on the pitch which has filtered down to the fans & everything is dead!! I’d like to see Knight use his energy as a #8, as that box to box midfielder, especially assuming that Twine will play in the #10 with two attacking wide forwards & Conway as the striker BUT somehow I see Manning going with 5 at the back, with the wing-backs bringing us little going forward & Knight & Twine as #10’s but everything is too compacted into the middle of the pitch, no width, which makes easy & predictable to defend against & the we pass sideways & backwards constantly with no pace!! It’s becoming unwatchable!!
