I was surprised to see her put vinegar in her cabbage cause I use a lil Italian dressing in mine wich also has vinegar in it, and It does add to the flavor. I use it in my collard greens as well. So good😋❤💛

I try to minimize dishes bc for me that's the worst part of cooking. Dishes. I woulda put all that meat in 1 pot chile! But I love that she used cornbread for the stuffing. Def gon try that. Ok!

Looks good. Yeah my mom taught me never to throw the dark green part of the cabbage away. We wash the pieces real good, chop em up, and cook em down a little first before putting the rest in. Never had stuffed peppers with cornbread. Interesting 😊. I usually use rice but last time I made some I used quinoa

This looks amazing Tamela. I haven't made nor had stuffed bell peppers in years. Thats a great tip using cornbread as part of the stuffing instead of rice or bread crumbs. Oh btw, I love cabbage and collardgreens mixed. I actually made some for Christmas 2022 dinner.

I would've poured the leftover marinara sauce into the pan with the peppers for that sauce to soak into those peppers! I would also use pork bacon or turkey tails in cabbage lol! Now I have never thought about using cornbread instead of rice bit makes sense! it would remind me of chilli and cornbread so it should be good! Now tamela has me hungry 😋

Mama Mann, Mama Mann! Those stuffed bell peppers Mama style were awesome! I just made some with the cornbread and the others with brown rice, as I’ve never eaten stuffed bell peppers! They turned out so delicious! I really liked the cornbread stuffed peppers. I will certainly make these again. Oh and I made cabbage too! Can’t wait until Sunday comes!
