Manoa Falls: Perfect Family Hike Near Waikiki

Manoa Falls is an easy hike accessible from Waikiki for a family with small children on vacation that needs ideas for things to do other than the beach. It is about 15-20 min drive and is very easy. You will be walking through a lush jungle that twists and turns up to a beautiful tall waterfall. Be aware that it may rain, and there will definitely be mosquitos, so bring bug spray. The trail is slightly uneven and rocky, but nothing that isn't handled easily.

Congratulations on your move, I hope you make a video about that as well, as I have considered moving there myself multiple times but can't decide if it's a completely crazy idea or not! BTW, I love your style of videos, such a breath of fresh air.

Nice. Congrats on your move to Hawaii. Looking forward to your island adventures. My favorite island was the Big Island, though I've only been to 3 islands.

We will definitely be getting to the other islands, but everyone has told us it’s a marathon and not a sprint, don’t try to see and do everything in the first 6 months!

That’s a great question - I heard a drone take off in the parking lot, but I can’t recall if I saw any signs about drone use. I say bring the drone and decide while there because we’ve already noticed there is a stark difference on island between rules that exist and rules that are enforced (note the families in the water at the falls)
