I can't believe these audience cam videos are the only record of Dickinson-Anderson collaboration. This is clearly something that should have happened a lot more.

Also... watching this for the millionth time, the following question came up - how can anyone watch this and not have goosebumps from head to toe? Even on a sh*tty, scratchy cam recording on YT his voice is just... out of this world. And he's so in flow from the 2nd min... I can't not go along with him and leave this world behind when I watch this :)

How come Dickinson doesn't have a knighthood yet?
@DidacticEditions5 жыл бұрын
He is no gay queen, or some boy band wierdo, with washed down drugged lyrics. After all he only is a historian, a national team fencer, a pilot, a writer and of course with Iron Maiden he gave a history lesson with almost every song in every single album, shed light on great on brilliant British writers, flew the union jack on stage all over the world and made people interested in English and British culture and history, one of them is myself among millions upon millions. He also possesses the most powerfull and unique voice ever known to man. Fuck that, let's knight Elton John
@juliegogola46474 жыл бұрын
Maiden and solo Bruce aren't commercial enough to be recognized I guess. He doesn't need that kinda attention anyway, Bruce has done great things never wanting to be praised for it all. I do like Paul Mc cartney, the rest are just ho hum to me.
@remembertheblacksabbath4 жыл бұрын
Tony Stone that’s a no shitter right there! He’s such an accomplished human being! 🤘🤘🤘
@juliegogola46474 жыл бұрын
@@remembertheblacksabbath Iron Maiden must not be "mainstream" enough to be thought of. The "others" were all in movies that were popular and in bands that are more "popular" as in "pop music" like Elton and the guys in the Beatles. Iron Maiden are STILL not "pop" musicians. They SHOULD be well known enough, BUT, they aren't all out "in your face" like many are. Bruce does deserve it, he rescued a bunch of people that would have been harmed if he hadn't. He seems to be a true "patriotic" Brit. Maybe since he is a less "egotistic" person, he will NOT be recognized and knighted. I am NOT so sure that he would care about that anyway.
@juliegogola46474 жыл бұрын
@@DidacticEditions Many Maiden songs were written by Steve Harris and some other band members, BUT, I see what you are saying. I think that Paul Mc Cartney deserved his Knighthood. Elton did put out alot of music throughout the years also. Bruce deserves it, BUt, some others did also, in MY OPINION. Elton, I only like "Tiny Dancer" BUT, he has been performing a hella long time.
