@@alainspiteri502 Yours is a very interesting point of view...but art is also about taste...and we might have different tastes...so I probably can't suggest you other pdd you might like... As to Guillem, I do understand what you say, I saw her Giselle live at the Scala and indeed I didn't like it either. But that's again a matter of taste, not of techniques, where she is and remains one of the greatest, if not the greatest. And being myself a former classical dancer who tried other languages finding the classical language too limited after my 30ties, I do understand, share and admire her courage and strength to go new ways...but again, that's just a matter of taste, and maybe of different life experiences... As to Spartacus...I don't like Russian classical acrobatic style, it is much too static and didascalic for my taste...but still, I can't deny the overwhelming effect Kachaturian's music and the story itself has on me, so even if I don't like the choreography, I still enjoy the ballet. So, once I said this, I can't give you any better advice on which pdd on you tube you might like, as the ones I had suggested are the best pdd for my taste. But I do wish you many more nice descoveries, as I admire such well informed ballet fans as you seem to be... But...actually...thinking of it...try watching Osipova's Giselle mad scene with the Royal Ballet...very expressive..you might like...and also...try to find Marianela Nunez's white swan pdd with the Royal Ballet...she is so incredibly soft...you might be surprised, if you know that pdd well...and last but not least...find Polina Semionova in Bayadère Nikija's death scene..very emotional... Well...and what to say about all Zacharova's pdd in La Bayadère, for example in the Scala version with Roberto Bolle...just art at its best.. But I do insist...go for Ferri and Bocca or Eagling in the balcony and the bedroom pdd of Romeo and Juliet, with the McMillan choreography..so fluid, so beautiful... So good vision and best regards!
