Raja Ampat is one of the few places on earth where is is possible to see both manta ray species.
The magnificent, gentle giants can be encountered while snorkeling (as we can see here), but also during scuba dives. The best season to see them is between October and May.
At Papua Explorers Eco Resort, many of the famous manta spots are just short boat rides away, and in the season we visit these several times a week with our daily boats.
