Manta Ray Night Snorkeling, Kona Hawaii
Of all the amazing things to do on the Big Island of Hawaii perhaps one of the most unique, is the chance to snorkel or dive at night with Giant Oceanic Manta Rays.
I will admit that it was a bit scary to jump into the ocean at night, especially knowing that there were large animals swimming around in it. There were lots of other groups in the same spot as we were, and as we approached I could hear the sounds of people screaming. Whether it was from fear or excitement I wasn't sure. Despite whatever anxiety I felt, before I knew it I was jumping off the boat into a rough dark ocean...
