No doubt, the Bung Bo Kuen is one of the most famous and wellknown forms of the seven star mantis kung fu.
In Traditional Kung Fu the old forms have handed down the fighting techniques of the style to the next generations; the sets have been the "compendium" for the applications and fighting strategies.
We tried to make this evident for every viewer and
hope you enjoy it.
Kein Zweifel, die Bung Bo Handform ist wohl eine der berühmtesten und bekanntesten Form des Mantis Kung Fu Stils. Im Traditionellen Kung Fu haben die überlieferten Formen die Kampftechniken für die nächsten Generationen erhalten; die Formen waren gleichsam die "Lehrbücher" für die Anwendungen und Kampfstrategien.
Wir haben versucht, dies für die Zuschauer nachvollziehbar zu machen und wünschen viel Spaß!

Es ist wirklich schön zu hören, wo es überall Mantis-Freunde gibt und dass es ihnen gefällt. Wirkliche Arbeit wäre gewesen, die gesamte Form darzustellen und einen Teil der Anwendungsvarianten zu zeigen. ;-))

Great videos, really. I particularly liked the Jian demonstrations and the applications, and this one too of course. Wish there were more schools like this!

this footwork is already a bit faster than most so good , still some hand moves are lacking real power to be of any use in a selfdefence situation really ! g ;-)

He is great Sifu or Master. He don´t have fear in to teach the secret of Kati. He kill the tiger, he show the stich what to kill, and to bring whith him the animal´s skin.

Thanks! We could train every single hand form also with partner. Every mantis single form tells a story about a sequence of fight techniques, how it could happen. Actually we don´t train every form with partner, but extract sequences, train variations...

The form is one of the most popular form of Traditional Kung Fu. It is incorporated in the curriculum of Hung Gar and also Eagle Claw! many mantis schools also practice chi sao -, diu sao -, qin na - exercises...
