I think you need to take a long hard look at how you present the feeding of live prey to your different mantis shrimps. You seem to take a lot of pleasure and consider it great fun to comment enthusiastically when they tear and beat smaller animals to pieces. Granted there is violence in the world of carnivores but your lack of respect for the prey strikes me as cruel and sadistic. It shows in many of your shorts, such as "My mantis shrimp helping his crab friend", "My mantis shrimp's first friend after his molt", "My mantis shrimp loves crabs", and "Mantis shrimps vs. crabs", just to name a few. It reminds me of the Romans watching Christians in the Coliseum being slaughtered by lions and bears. I think we're a little beyond thinking that slaughter equals sport.
