Excellent video. As a MantisX user, I threw in the towel because I needed to cycle the slide and my follow ons stunk. Combining the two appear to be a fabulous set up.

Thanks for the video. I've had the mantis for about 4 months and just got the Coolfire about a month ago. Your had me go through the setting to find the CO2 blowback setting. A great combo for training.

I don’t understand why Coolfire hasn’t made their own app. It’s expensive too, with upgrades options it’s more than my pistol.

TY. This is awesome .. I've been thinking for past week.. it seems those systems would work together... but specifically wanting to know if it'll work with their training system not just the X... the one with several different laser targets and tripod .... even though it's a different laser if it all worked together that would be the primo set up! I'm thinking it would since it relies on camera phone to read the laser hits on target. I'd really like to know as I'm willing to get the systems and spend the dough if they do actually all work together... ffs the two companies need to get together on a colab they'll have the market cornered

Wish they made this for a stoeger str9c or a ruger sr22. I heard the stoeger str9c is almost identical to a glock 17 so I wonder if one of the 3 different glock 17 gen packages they have on the site would fit my stoeger 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Is there a system for the CZ P07 pistol? I didn't see one on cool fire's website
@laferriere63 жыл бұрын
if it wasn't for the $$ this would be perfect for me as we have 4 relatively new pistol shooters and ammo is so expensive and hard to come by. The air soft/bb gun option is just more affordable to keep "Jerking one off" LMAO :D
@drcoolit2 жыл бұрын
my primary interest is in precision marksmanship using a .22 rifle (competition, not bench shooting). do you know if this device would help in getting better technique using a rifle? also, I understand that this uses an accelerometer but would you say in your opinion it exactly mirrors your actual hand movement?
@danielbell4007 Жыл бұрын
The mantis system is supposed to work with all weapons systems even archery. So, it should work well with your 22.

which holster that will fit gun with Mantis X attachment?
@Sophistry000111 ай бұрын
Already have cool fire, but now I just ordered a mantis x3 to try and solve some issues. Are you able to use both apps at the same time? Like have the Mantis app collecting data in the background while having the Laser Academy app running to score accuracy?

HI Thanks for uploading this good info👍 I got the Mantis X for my wife’s sig, but the laser is in the chamber and utilizes the firing pin. Will this setup work in that configuration, or will we need the external mount laser?
@KBoon Жыл бұрын
I'd imagine you'll need another laser system that doesn't fit into the chamber since the whole barrel assembly would have to be CoolFire

What holster did you use to hold your gun with the MantisX on the rail? I have a S&w m&p 2.0 9mm… Thanks
@miguellucero10 ай бұрын
Sorry nobody replied. If you have a light barring holster then your holster has the space for it. I remove my Surefire x300u on my G19 and put the Mantis and it works fine. Not the same retention. But works.

my question is what holster are you using, and do they have one for the taurus G3? I haven't been able to find a holster that works with the mantis and the G3
@Blap552 Жыл бұрын
Hey,they said they have that adapter rail you glue to the(flat-plate) bottom of your mag,then slide the Mantis on. I'm thinking about the dry-fire set-up. And I just bought a gx4 a few months ago,very heavy trigger pull but I love the size/weight for edc. Do you have any issues?
@xnekalnolani4613 Жыл бұрын
@@Blap552 I have used that glue rail on one of my magazines, I don't think it picks up as well as when the unit is on the frame. And you can not train mag reloads when it is on the magazine like that. As for my G3 I have not had any problems with it except for one type of ammo (lead cast bullet reloads) - it did not like a specific mold. Anything manufactured commercially it has eaten no problem. Mine is also the beginning poly sights and the dot disappear in very specific lighting conditions. Trigger is nice and I like that it has a double strike. Have not shot the gx4 so can not compare it to a G3. But the g3 is my carry firearm and I do like it.

Yes $400 for the cool fire and $149 for the mantis, I can get more then 500 rounds to go to the range for that. Cool system but I will wait for the price to come down.
@backbonz2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, you can get 500rds, but they are gone when they’re gone. This system is repeatable
