When this came out I asked my parents for the CD for my birthday. Everyone in my family was surprised cause I mainly listened to rock and metal but when I received this album I kept listening to it all day long non-stop. Timeless. ❤️

This is such a simple beat but somehow it communicates something sad or deep, something that I used to have a long time ago but then lost. In addition the lyrics is repetitive and circles around a feeling that is hidden deep in me, and this song does not show me this hidden thing, feeling or memories, but only reminds me of his existence.

My oh my, how time has passed away... I was about 7 or 8 when this came out, discovered it a while ago here on KZfaq but with a low quality. Now I've seen that this great track was uploaded in better quality. Makes me miss the time around 1999/2000 when everything seemed easier and not so strange as it does today.

Mom had a Manu Chao LP amongst other never-dying LP's, but she must've copped it as soon as it dropped 'cause in 1998-'99 she played this amongst other solid tracks on the record player while cleaning the house , and it's stayed with me 'til now. Sends me right back

My family has always been very hippie surfer and Volkswagen camper van type of family. I must have been 2 years old or 3 years old back in 2004 or 2005 when I first heard this song while my aunt and uncle drove me in their camper van playing this song on the way to the beach. That moment I hold so precious in my heart even though I was so young and barely remember I can remember bouncing up and down and thinking what a song. It really gives me a high on life. Manu chao is just a underrated artist. ❤❤❤❤
