Lifetime Spurs fan from Italy: back then I was working in a place where I had early morning shifts, usually starting at 7.15 a.m. That day I woke up, I said to myself "let's see the result" and found out they were still playing! I put the game on and had breakfast and all the rest while watching the 2 overtimes unfold. I was halfway out the doorway at approximately 7 a.m. when Manu (my absolute hero) sank this shot: I went completely crazy then ran downstairs, took the bike and cycled so hard I was able to punch the clock on time. One of my most unforgettable Spurs memories ever

this totally reminded me of the memorial day miracle. i described this game as the "Midnight Miracle" cause that night manu was in a slump on his 3 points (1/9 made). when leonard passed him the ball i was like, "oh, no" then he made the shot i jumped up and almost fell on the glass table. Manu being Manu. one of the most legendary Spurs players ever. ever since then I'll never doubt any Spurs player as long as I live. #GoSpursGo

@@sdude0572 complete Horseshit. That team literally coasted to 61 wins with tons of intentional benching towards the end of the season. Kawhi was unbelievable in his prime which is why the '17 Spurs were the only team with a winning regular season record against the warriors. They were already a breath away from winning game 1 before Kawhi went down (which was at GSW) and would have taken at least 1 or 2 more at home.
