because they never saw him play. They just read statistics, or they started following the nba 4 years ago. I whatched Manu dominated the best players in the nba countless times. Every time he put a step on the cout the game changes. That is something you don{t see on statistics. You have to see the game.

Manu is a hugely underrated player. He had the talent and the abilities to be a superstar during his playing years, but he sacrificed for the team, and it got them 4 rings. I won't say prime Manu was equal to prime Kobe, but prime Manu was probably as good or better than prime TMAC, or prime Grant Hill. He was that good.

Every time the Spurs lose the lead, here comes Ginobili with a shot from 3 point line or in the paint.. What a guy.. !!! A dream player of any basketball coach. Unselfish. skilled in offense and defense. Very quick. creative and a team player who wants his team to win..very competitive. He's missed now on the court, but he'll never be missed from the heart of basketball game lovers.

I also agree. Favorite player of all time for me as well. I have been a fan of his since the first time I saw him play. It was 2000 or 2001. He was playing for Kinder Bologna (an Italian basketball club) in the euro league. He went to the Spurs a year or two later and I have been rooting for them ever since.

To me, Manu's skill level is actually up there with those guys but his body isn't. Manu can play to a similar level during 20/25 minutes while those 2 can do it the entire game and the entire season. Would Manu be as efficient on per minute stats if he was playing starter minutes? Both his scoring efficiency and his defence would suffer. We are talking about a guy that was able to eliminate USA with Argentina. But for a whole season I'll take Wade over him, and Kobe shouldn't even be a question. Can't imagine Ginobili winning 2 seasons with just Pau as supporting cast, or scoring 81, etc.

@jocriss nah, individual accolades and ball dominance aside, I would take Manu's plethora of skill and tricks, shooting accuracy, and vision over Kobrick and Robin. Duncan, a legit NBA GOAT that has more say than you ever will, will choose Manu over the MJ wannabes if you ask him not cuz they're buddies, but to all the things Manu brings to the team be it as 1st, 2nd, or 3rd option. Emanuel Ginobilli era igual que Jordan, el podia jugar 3 posiciones en la cancha. PG/SG/SMF asi que son comparables. Y Ginobilli Es mucho mejor baloncelista que Lebron James. easily top 5 shooting guard of all time i kinda wish we got to see him lead a team in the nba as the main guy playing 35-40 minutes a night for a few seasons would have been a spectacle every night hes truly a one of a kind player he would have easily gotten 25-30 points a night leading his teams to a top 4 seed and multiple deep playoff runs with potentially at least 1 championship and finals mvp he cared more about his loyalty to the only team that gave him a chance exchanged personal success and fame for team success

what a player. Just look at the score when he was on the court, and when he was off the court. His incluence on the game; no just with points,but asistances, steals, rebounds, deffense, things that don´t apear in this footage, he was unbeliveble. And I saw this against Kobe, Shaqueale, Paul, Kidd,Carter Iverson,Nash, Howard, against all the stars of the NBA, since 2000´s till his retirement. He always did the same. Erase them from the court. Some day someone big in the nba will say it. Some day.

No way Duncan wins the Pistons without Ginobili, and he lost the olimpics when he was on the other side with his same coach, Popovich with the USA.

There’s such nostalgia for me watching Ginobili, Parker and Duncan. My mom got me into watching the Spurs (she was a big David Robinson fan). My first big memory was the finals during Robinson’s last season. After that I followed because we just loved the 3 of them. Class acts. I miss them playing together.

Manu is a H.O.F, cause he wasnt the leader of the team and pretty much was behind Duncan & Parker, he did get constantly overlooked as being a great SG and leader as well. I definitely can see him as top 10 SG of all time.

that assasin instintc like kobe.. he kill lebron in his own house.. and they didnt gavei him the mvp in the finals.. manu won 4 champions in the kobe lebron era.. theres something more to say? he beat two of the maybe top 5 players of all time.. an both kobe and lebron know that if the san antonio trident werent there they will have more championships..

Kyrie's one of the Man who bailed him out of championship though. He went in finals consecutive times because he's in the east though. Now the finals streak is over now that he's in the west :)

Lebron led both teams in all categories and had the greatest and most significant block in the finals... without kyries 3 it’s still tied, without brons block they’re down 2... plus Lebron been to the finals before kyrie and kyrie didn’t even make the playoffs before Lebron 😅😁

I'll never for the life of me understand how the hell that Cavs team beat the Pistons. This was the most comfortable championship the Spurs ever won. It was never in doubt once the Suns were gone & Pistons were eliminated.
