Hi Rodney, a year ago I bought a new Peugeot 208 1.2 manual. I have recently had a left leg amputation and I would love to get it converted to automatic, the car that is, but was told it can't be done. Seeing your video has given me a real boost. I love that car and if I were to sell it I would be seriously out of pocket. I am in Essex (Colchester). Please any advice, I've noted the name of your youtube video and will visit every day with bated breath

I'm about to acquire a 1985 Nissan 720 Sport Truck with a manual transmission. I don't really want to embarrass myself driving it and was wondering what it would take to convert it to an automatic. I haven't even bough the thing yet, and I'm already making plans to restore it to its former glory, but I'm not good with manual vehicles. I did all my manual training in an 18-wheeler.

How can one do the opposite if I buy a truck and I want it manual. It possible to do it the other way in the future. Cause it seems not a lot of used trucks with manual Transmissions.

The biggest thing is automatics are cheaper per hp than a manual. So a ford c4 or c6 can handle 450 hp and are about $1000 for a performance tranny. For a manual your only option is tko or t56 and they are $2300. T5 are about $1700 but can only handle 300 lb/ft. Same for chevy th350 which are a dime a dozen and have tons of aftermarket support.

How long does this take & how much does it cost? Do you know if its possible to do this with an old manual diesel 6N2 Polo? My city no longer allows diesel (shame on them) so currently not using my beloved car, but if I refit I would want an automatic.

The conversion from manual to auto for the Polo is very difficult and also very expensive, it would be far cheaper to sell the car and purchase a later model that already has the automatic transmission. Not all models have this option and that is why we do the auto conversions when this is not an option.

Cheaper well it would just be a bit more expensive and time consuming but , is it possible. And how much. Maybe 2,500 $ total? Or 3,000? How long maybe a week , thats not long at all

Cheaper to sell the car and buy another that is already auto as the auto conversion would be well in excess of $20,000 installed.

It might not be possible for audi a6 Quattro. Since Quattro is 4 wheel drive. Is that correct ? So,, you'd have to take a look. But it might be possible.

The cot would be very expansive in this case, possibly more that the car is worth.

I'm about to get an auto into a 2009 Toyota Hilux, Because the 2009 Auto box in the Hiluxs are in fact a Landcruiser box designed for towing, BULLETPROOF mate, and very very smooth changes. There you go 👍
