This is a superb rendition, after listening to about 20 versions on KZfaq I find this one to be my favorite. The tempo is nuanced and paying respect to the harmonic details going on. The piano is played excellently as well, e.g. highlighting the counter-melody at 00:22. The sound quality is very high, and of course an amazing violin instrument.

I couldn’t agree more. On my playlist, ms. Kim’s interpretation is preceded by Perlman’s. I find myself always coming back to hers rather than Perlman’s. It is as though she has spoken to Falla and Kreisler and plays it accordingly.

World class virtuoso soloist!!!!!!!! Would love it if more of your performances were posted on your channel. Edit Found some of ms. Kim’s stuff on the violin channel. I suspected she’d play saint Saens and Sarasate well. 😎😎😎😎😎 Would love it even more if you came to Walt Disney ^^

뭐하나 빠지는게 없는 무대에요 바이올린 테크닉을 잘 모르긴 하지만 훌륭한 연주 실력 강약조절 감성 표정 무대 분위기와 관객의 만족스런 표정까지.. 카메라 감독님도 열일 하셨네요 ㅎㅎ 정말 아름다워요. 무한 청취 중이에요 ^^

I am going to play this piece for my AT violin exam 😭 And the problem is that I’m just only 13 years old… OMG this song is so hard and I don’t have enough confidence if I can master this piece… :(

Very good. Yet I've had the same problem when recording. The violin is "challenged" by how loud the piano is. Whether this is noted live; it really shows up in the recording; i.e. that the piano is too loud in the balance. This is not as easy to correct as one might think. Very hard to balance afterward if there are not really good isolated mics on the violin.
