I'm not happy that artists trace drawings then paint it almost like colouring in a book. I draw, I've learned to draw perspective, I learned Tech drawing also. I like to see real skill involved in art. I'm learning all the time, so I think tracing is cheating.

Artists would not have needed these optical tools.
