He actually found a solution to win with a side that currently only performs well in the first 45. They played defensively and did not concede to go all out in the second and it worked, genius.

with the first tactic (with 2-3 games before) they tried to attack aggressively right from the start, too bad our finishing was so bad on those games..the point of that tactic is to get ahead with at least 2 goals in mind. the second tactic was rather dangerous because what if we were 0-1 down..luckily we didn't concede in the first half.

Not getting carried away, first half was abysmal, play like that against atletico for any period and it will be rough. De Gea kept us in it, his whole performance and in particular the full stretch save to deny moder’s header was world class.

Smart ragnick, in second half he instruct the team to press high and we manage to steal the ball, counter press brighton and score goal. Thats what typically ragnick team do, the problem is our player cant play high intensity pressing football for 90 minutes.

That first half really really concerned me, not the lack of goals but the body language of all 11 players. They looked like they didn't wanna be there. Really hope the sports psychologist can motivate these guys to absolutely batter teams like this. Great to have Bruno and the big man back on the score sheet!

they can't press for more than 30-40 minutes. this was a tactical decision to stay defensive in the first half and then press in the second. there's a risk involved, but united were lucky.

The players need to be closing the opp down faster. Brighton were passing the ball with ease like they were the ones with 11 men, against a top side we might have conceded. Also we need to be closing players down and not just let them be passing like they see fit. Glad for the 3 points though

That performance last night was absolutely embarrassing. We couldn't kill off a Brighton side with 10 men. So many chances missed and it shows our finishing needs a lot of work. This is just papering over the cracks. If we play like that against Atletico Madrid we'll go out of the Champions League in the first leg.

Awb can play as a right CB in a 3 defender formation, he lack the confidence in attack/crosses, but in defending, I am sure he did well in that area, worth to play him as a right CB in 3 defender formation

We played the first half like we played against Liverpool. Any stronger team would have annihilated us in those 45 minutes itself. Try doing this against Watford and you'll see the repeat of 4-1 drubbing.
