You know Kath Soucie is a skilled voice actress when her voice can go from "cute and adorable" (making you go "Aww") to "screechy and annoying" (making you go "Aw shut up!") to velvety and seductive (making you go "Ooooh, keep talking...")

As much as love other female greats like Debi Derryberry, Grey Deslile, Tara Strong, Janice Kawaye, and Jodi Benson, I feel like Kath Soucie is way overdue for some recognition. Something about her adorable voice is starting to grow on me.

Perhaps one of the most underrated and overlooked female voiceovers in the industry. Kath Soucie is supremely talented and a true legend in the business. I remember watching her on "Pound Puppies," "Gargoyles," and all the way through Rugrats and more growing up. Her work on "DarkWing Duck" was among my favorites. Her voice can ooze sensuality one minute and turn cold as ice the next. Will always be a fan of hers, Tress, and all of the legends of what I consider to be the "Golden Age" of voice over.

Oh my goodness ❤❤❤, Kath Soucie. I love her, she has the cutest voice ever, one of my favorite actresses. There are a lot of roles I can name. Linga from Captain Planet and the Planeteers, Cadpig from 101 Dalmatians series, Mary Ann Smith from the powerpuff girls who turned psycho after they put her husband in jail, Sally Acorn from Sonic the hedgehog who was Sonic’s love interest, two of the cocker spaniel puppies in Lady and the Tramp 2: Scamp’s adventure, Phil and Lil from Rugrats, Fifi LaFlume and Perdi from the 101 Dalmatians sequel. I love Perdita, she’s so elegant and graceful, I wanted to cuddle her so much. Oh and there’s also Little Sneezer from tiny toons, oh my goodness, he’s so cute when he sneezes. Her voice is so adorable, if she was a furry, I would cuddle 🤗 her so much. And If I met her, I would shake her hand and thank her for her performance.

Just in time for the 4th of July and the wait was worth it.

As a kid, I always gravitated heavily towards the characters she played, purely because I loved their unique voices more than any other. It's not until now, however - years later - that I've finally realized that they were all played by the same person. My mind is completely blown away. This woman has an amazing voice. I'd also like to add another character to this list: Annabelle, from Annabelle's Wish. Just a cute little holiday movie about a baby cow who dreams of being a reindeer when she grows up. Back when Blockbuster was still a thing, this was the movie I always rented, over and over, as a kid. The story was cute, but I just really liked Annabelle's voice. XD
