in WWII the maori battalion fought against german soldiers, according to statements made by former soldiers who fought against the maoris, the battles were horrifying, as maoris would always perform a haka in the heat of war to frighten their enemies, and in most cases, it was done at night. making it all the more scary.
@OriginMSD

They were a high performance battalion with over 40 battle honors and over a hundred medals, the most decorated battalion in New Zealand. If anything they were almost too brave, with high casualties reported. Still, they did a lot more damage to the enemy than themselves.

+Richard Bug It's really hard to be offended when your grammar is just so terrible, I'm trying to be triggered for shits and giggles but I'm getting nothing here lol. Ooh heads up on the plural for Maori, it is just Maori. There's no 's' in Te Reo. Also also, you sound bitter mate, if you're so content with how your lot wound up then why would you go looking for a video with Maori if you hated the culture/people so much? Doesn't make sense, unless you're nursing a grudge. Life's too short for grudges man.
@shadowboxing7029

+Richard Bug I'm surprised you managed to get all that out, how did you do it in between all the frothing and snarling? If I can make a suggestion, (I'm assuming you're trying to be racist?) maybe not go for ape seeing as humans are related to apes. It doesn't really work you see? So you might try a little less wanna-be edge lord this time and try something new, something that hasn't been done for centuries and is just laughable by today's standards. You can do better, I have faith in you mate!

@@TheDeadPoolfan It is not a joke, it is a perception about ancient selective breeding, carnevales, and cannibalism --where do you think the term ash wednesday came from? Whose ashes? It may be no coincidence that some people live where they live, in relation to what their ancestors had to do in order to conquer, attain and/or destroy other people's physical and intellectual property, culture, science, technology, and what it now takes in order to keep themselves believing they did discover it and that it was their own merit. Sadly it's because people are afraid to depict them in media because of outrage or cultural appropriation. It's expensive to hire consultants, and a lot of consultant companies are grifters that overcharge massively and force things into content as well. I'm a game designer but I do it all solo, and I'd love to include this incredible culture, but I can't afford to do it, so it just has to stay out of it because of this. Most other ancient cultures don't have 'living traditions' so they're safer to use, and I have Native American ancestry so I can 'somewhat safely' use them in my content, but sadly this is one of the few I can't touch.

God and Jesus are real and good will overcome evil. 1 John 5: 19 We know that we are of God, and that the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. 1 John 2: 13 I am writing to you, fathers, because you know Him who has been from the beginning. I am writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I have written to you, children, because you know the Father. Luke 24: Luke 24: 44 Now He said to them, “These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.” 45 Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, 46 and He said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day, 47 and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. 48 You are witnesses of these things. 49 And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.” Jesus: John 14: 21 He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.” 22 Judas (not Iscariot) *said to Him, “Lord, what then has happened that You are going to disclose Yourself to us and not to the world?” 23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me. May God bless you and be with you.

John 7: 37 Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “[g]If anyone is thirsty, [h]let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From [i]his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’” 39 But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. John 14: 21 He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.” 22 Judas (not Iscariot) *said to Him, “Lord, what then has happened that You are going to disclose Yourself to us and not to the world?” 23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me. May God bless you and be with you.

Maori are fierce AF. Cherokee war dance and chant is peaceful compared to this. Still, gotta have a lot of respect for Maori people. Much of the culture is preserved because of this. Wish I could say the same thing for Cherokee, because much of our culture has been Euro-washed. I’m thankful we still even have our language and dances.

@Justa Bloke Tribal warfare is in-equivalent to the genocide of 60 million natives and the gentrification, rape, and torture of many more. Tribal warfare doesn't impact anybody today, but the genocide and colonization of native land does. There is still racial inequality, which is why colonization is still talked about. You are _disgusting_ and objectively racist.
