I dropped in to hear how interesting Maori sounds when spoken. I'm not disappointed. It's a beautiful language. Thank you for the upload.

I'm a new Zealander and love the Moari language. It can sound so calm but also can sound very intimidating. Take the Moari haka for instance, It's a tribal war dance that's soul purpose is to invoke fear in the enemy. The All Blacks rugby team perform the haka before every match. I myself have no interest in learning Moari but would also be very upset to see it die out. Through the years of relations with the Europeans it has actually led to every moari person being part European. Most of us are a mixed bag of everything, which makes us [Kaipara] kind of unique." It is believed that the last full blooded Moari died out in the 1970's. Before 1974, a Maori was defined as someone who was half-caste or more. But by 1974 it was increasingly difficult for many Maori to work out what, precisely, was their proportion of Maori blood for electoral, land and other purposes. But at the end of the day Moari or European, If you live in New Zealand then you are a New Zealander. One big family where two cultures live mostly in harmony. As far as i am aware I have no moari in me at all. But my very best friend is Moari and is one of the most beautiful hearted people i have ever met. There are issues in our country that we should be working together to solve, yet our government continue to divide us. The Moari "People" which actually has 99% nothing to do with the average moari accused Europeans of "stealing" their land . Which is just false. What actually happened was the Europeans let moari occupy certain areas under certain rules. And those rules were broken and as punishment the land was taken back. But our pandering prime minister paid "them" out for reconciliation . Now my problem is not just with the fact that this money was given out over a fraudulent claim . But the fact that the actual Moari people didn't see a cent of it. We have a group of 'Woke" Moari politicians that are just never satisfied and continue to want more. And i am sick of it. Instead of bringing up things from the past why can they not look forward to the future and invest money in to the moari community? Oh that's right, Because they have their own agenda and the voices of the moari people that actually matter are simply not heard.

Maori is a Polynesian language, so it is more similar to Indonesian than Italian.
