That’s so awesome! My first taiko experiences were with taiko no tatsujin drum n fun and wii 5 Chou goukahan. Wii 5 introduced me to the Japanese world of taiko.

Whichever play style is more comfortable, go for it. There's no advantages to playing with a different layout.

How do u get new songs on this game? I just got it and understand the controls and things but only because the pictures and KZfaq, please help -v-

Normally you would get new songs by buying DLC via the Japanese WiiU eShop. You can also progressively unlock songs by playing and using Mecha-don Gacha. My WiiU is hacked to let me play Taiko, but it was done entirely by a friend, so unfortunately I don't know how to help.
