@@gabrielthuu That doesn't need an argument, however is how he treats others that's a problem MacG said that's business but because him Phori has been through people exploiting him and he knows how it feels why is he not doing better for these kids and teach them how to stand on their own, there's always new kids in the block especially with amapiano genre. Now kids will be scared to work with him, but if he was teaching them they would recommend or even bring more kids to say go to Phori he will help you

They just need to invest in their own studio equipment. It's inexpensive. Maphorisa is not wrong. Mechanical rights dictate that Masters belong to whoever owns the computer. It's exactly how labels also work: you use their resources; they take your masters.

@@t_rxley lies that's not how it works, learn the legalities of the industry instead of being fed lies. Contractual law doesn't work like that as what he is doing is misrepresentation and copy rights creativity thief . They paid for a service as they don't record for free. He is a leech.

Apparently that’s what the law says; and artists need to fight this system because that is really not fair!. Vocalists need to really fight. Only the djs are being booked while lyrics etc aren’t even theirs. It’s heartbreaking

Owamie you have to check how it works in the music industry and then you can let us know, Maphorisa is right on certain aspects about owning the music when you record on someone studio. McG on the podcast is he doing the right thing and paying the guys the same amount he gets from UTUBE, that's what music industry is Maphoria don't need them more than they need him he is not just a singer he is also a producer, I think Mcg have an issue with Maphorisa maybe he used to date his wife, all these piano hit's they don't do them solo guys these guys collab.

When a company sees your using their electricity etc to advertise your side business. The company has the right to own a piece of that business..because yoh used their facilities etc..thats why you need to be smart about certain things or moving a certain way in a company because your just an employee not an employer ..
