Last week, the layout was covered by a layer of Saharan dust. Even if the cat tried to help cleaning the rails, the track cleaning locomotive from LGB turned out to be more effective. 😉

Die Bahn ist sehr schön und authentisch. Die Brücke scheint Kätzchens Lieblingsplatz zu sein. Bei dem Saharastaub, der bei mir einen wunderschönen rosafarbenen Himmel erzeugte, muß sich die Mimi bestimmt ordentlich putzen.

Kitty’s size makes him the perfect candidate to maintain the infrastructure, he fits onto the tracks as if he’s gone through special calibration :)

Cool! The cat part is the best! Maybe hide treats on the train so the cat follows it. When it stops he robs the train. Some miniature soldiers has to stop him. And the cat can wipe them out with his paw. Or the soldiers can be edible, catfood soldiers so he gobbles them up. In slow mo. Or slow meow...

Great video friend! Could you show us how the yellow loco works? Are the front wheels slipping to polish or is it blowing air?

The front wheels are spinning very fast in the opposite direction of travel. So the rails get polished. You can see the under side of the loco at the end of the video.

@@mapic2 Thanks! I had been wondering how it worked. Thought it was just struggling for traction on the dusty rails so was curious why it wasn't pushing the pad but now i see the pad is cleaning up after the loco grinding.
