The history of Battle Mages : - At launch , battle mage have unique skills like the summoning reaper , dark genesis that was a demonic girl lol , Dark shock was a very high damage skill with cooldown and not a toggle , and one of my favorite skills "Twister spin" , that you move around being a torndo , and have this "finishing big combo" that you can cast after using your main attack , yeah it was not good lol. - Then it got a revamp with the explorer thieves and pirates. It biggest buffs was that "ALL THE AURAS ARE NOW STACKABLE" , that was battle mage on its peak because "having all stackable auras together" , makes bam a really good solo/party member and the twister spin got bigger for mobbing with cooldown - It even got buff more with "hyper skills" and it was a pretty good class. You could spam your hyper skill attack "that sweep" with no cooldown - Then for whatever reason on "resistance semi revamp" , Battle mage dark aura and some other skills got move to 4th skill , it got toggles , and then it "became" this class that teleports + attack at the same time. AKA the "telecasting as you mentioned" - When 5th job came , Battle mages seem to be "a bit more tune" but still lack many things. As like "support was not as good as Kanna or Bishop" , or its mobbing was not as good as other classes. They were like "mid pack for almost everything". - After some fixes and things , finally "no need to do telecasting" but for some whatever reason , nexon mentioned that "BATTLE MAGES ARE DOING BETTER THAN THEY THOUGHT" , and no idea why they would get nerfed again LOOOL. - Battle Mage over time went from "a mage that uses a bit of dark magic + being a mid range attacker" , into having a theme with the "reaper" , changing the aesthetics of the auras into "gears" , and giving it "black mage vibes" on it attacks and summons. - I still have no idea what is nexon planning to do with Battle mages , having it as "a mix attacker and support" , or having it as a full time support similar

Fun fact regarding Grim Harvest (8:30): Elite Mobs count as boss monsters, which means that if one spawns on top of your Grim Harvest, you can get a few extra seconds out of it. If you have an Elite Boss spawn with its 2 Elite Mobs, or get a Rune of Darkness, GH can last for over a minute with the right conditions - it feels good when it happens.

Buff duration inner when you no longer need crit - is useful for AB link. You can almost double the duration which is good for end-game, but not important prior to being full 22. :)
