You have two weeks to claim all the rewards from the maple admin, I am going to wait with claiming the nodes and symbols and transfer those over to my new hyper burner hehe. You can claim these rewards until the maintenance that brings the dreamer update at the 12th! So claim them while they’re hot!
Our glorious leader Inkwell has returned with a new notice detailing more changes and what they are working on for GMS. I personally really love these types of updates as it makes it a lot clearer what they are working on, thinking of and why. I love it. So what’s happening? Lets check out the notice!

I was realized that I misread something. Nexon is looking into a server merge which will most likely be just the auction houses merging. Since I got this part wrong I am removing those 10 seconds from the video to prevent confusion! My apologies!!

From the memo: "If we go that route (merge servers) it won't just be a 'current worlds are kept as-is but they'll share a merged auction house" type of situation". So Inkwell is saying if they DO decide to merge servers, they won't simply merge auction house and call it done, it'll be more comprehensive xD

Of the three videos I've seen covering this so far, all three videos have misread that segment in some way. No worries as you had it right the first time with Nexon opting to merge entire worlds "and not just merging the auction house".

The possibility of a server merge would be so good. More people filling out each channel would be a nice thing to see considering how each world feels rather empty in most places. When you look at the Reboot servers those are just insanely packed. It would be cool for regular servers to be merged and see more players just running around like the old days and finally spreading out to more places rather then just sit around Henesys.

All of this truly is the start of something special, and I hope it keeps leading to more. Its definitely making me feel encouraged to play more, after having so much fun and still having fun with Lynn, considering now she's only the 2nd character I have thats been able to solo either lotus or damien XDDD. I believe you misunderstood the world merge part in the notice. Seems to me that he is saying that the possibility of a true server merge is being considered, as oppossed to just auction house merge.

I wonder what the GMS update will be called. At the bottom, they say that due to the diverging content focus from KMS, GMS is no longer getting the "Dreamer" update but will be getting an update that has its own name and theme/slogan instead.

As a casual player who really only does the weekly bosses and maybe some event daily's if they are good, I was looking forward to the new meso dungeon coins LOL. Gold is really the main hinderance for my progression (sacred symbol upgrades being like 1b each, star forcing above 17, etc), but, a meso cap would of sucked too so meh :). You say "they are looking at ways to make totem effect more available" but then also said "wild totems are not coming back"... way I took the memo is that they are potentially bringing back something very similar to wild totems, but maybe like upgraded to match frenzy/fury totem power (but limited time, like wild totems) hopefully.

I'm sadly excited by them addressing Frenzy Totems. Honestly I hope for their 1st option, which is just making them available to get again. I don't want the cash shop item even if it comes with "essential game goods" as I'm already fatigued by restoring a cash shop item every say 90 days or w/e. I just pretend Maplestory is secretly a subscription game, so I dislike any way that Nexon might increase the cost of my subscription. Still excited to see the direction things are going and hoping for the best!

Aight so I am trying to pick a server rn, I have like 7 characters in aurora interactive the main being 188 nl with some sick items - I just returned to ms and made a burning character in heroic but now im thinking maybe i should just return to interactive with all these issues finally being addressed seems like there is a future for interactive now. Any advice from my fellow maplers would be appreciated
