Но это - живое выступление. И мы хотим услышать, как он это делает. А: Первое тоже было живьем? М: Нет, это было официальное видео. Первое официальное, я думаю. Idol hits просили так много раз, оно не очень старое, примерно - один месяц. Давайте сделаем это. 1:26 Да, это круто! 1:45 Совершенно круто! М: 2:03 Я слышал это так много раз! Так хорошо! 2:35 Звук изменился, правда? 4:54 О, да ну! 6:40 О, Боже! 6:49 Очень-очень-очень хорошо! А: Посмотри на них (зрителей). М: Это были мы, мы были там! М: Очень отличается! Изумительно! Он восхитил длинными перепевами, он восхитил высокими нотами. О, мой Бог! Моя любимая часть была, когда он переходил от низких нот к высоким. А: Он всегда хорош! Мне понравился конец песни, когда он пел в микрофон, постепенно менял стиль пения, это было так классно! М: Я хочу сказать две вещи: первое, это - рэп. Почему сейчас все живые выступления включают рэп? А: Это как тренд, правильно? М: Мне не нравится этот тренд. Мне понравилось, как он это все сделал, но в рэпе не было необходимости. Зачем? Все, что мы сейчас слышим, все включает в себя рэп. Почему бы не оставаться в «классике» чуть-чуть изменяя ее? Иногда рэп подходит к месту, но в этой песне, я думаю, не подходит. По крайней мере, на мой вкус. А: Я думаю, что для живого выступления - ОК. М: Но это не в моем вкусе. Все, что мы сейчас делаем, везде - рэп. А: Правда, правда. Я думаю, это - тренд. М: Да, тренд, который мне не нравится. Мне нравится рэп, если он к месту и несет какой-то смысл, и не разрушает песню. Обычно мне нравится, но не здесь. Он мог сделать вокализ вместо этого. Я скучаю по тому месту в конце, когда он поет А-а-а (поет), так жалко, что он не сделал это сейчас. Но зато он сделал много других вещей, то, что мне понятно. Но, мой Бог! Все равно это было хорошо. А: Точно! Изумительно! М: Иногда он звучит как, … когда он идет на повтор, он иногда делает этот повтор иногда тише, иногда громче. А: В самом начале был эффект живой музыки, реверберация, но потом отключился, я не знаю, почему. Это было похоже на крик (Скриминг), что-то было пропущено. М: Но, может быть, это было сделано специально. Ревеберация и бэк-вокал в начале не совпадали. Но все остальное было нормально. Возможно, была техническая ошибка, но все остальное - был Димаш! А, М: Вау! Отличное шоу! А: Публика поддерживала его, что можно было и предположить! М: Это было круто, потому что это было по-другому. А: Я думаю, что всегда нужно слушать одну студийную запись и одну живую, чтоб посмотреть, что он еще может сделать. Потому что он (Димаш) стремится изменить что-то, сделать даже маленькие изменения, иначе живое шоу не было бы таким хорошим. М: Когда слушаешь трэк дома, это - в твоих наушниках, но дай мне что-то еще, измени что-нибудь. Это то, что делает Димаш. Вот почему, он вставил туда рэп. Я это понимаю, но немного не в моем вкусе. And about the rap part - they added this on purpose because this show “Idol hits” is kinda about rearranging well-known music into some other genre, so that’s why I want you to watch behind the scenes with eng subs - you’ll see how Dimash is practising and sharing his ideas on the music change - he’d like to introduce more folk motives into modern music, into pop. So you must have already noticed, since his performance of “Hello” he’s adding more folk style into the songs, we may expect same kind of motives in his debut album (which will be out in December). So going back to rap - so the idea was to integrate rapping, rock and folk motives into this pop song, and you know- it’s Dimash, someone else would try doing it - it may sound weird, but with this talented young man everything he “touches” turns into gold! So it sounded just perfectly good, like sth fresh being unexpected and at first shocking 😅👍🏼 try also read that rap lines with eng subtitles - you’ll see he’s such a wise man in his relatively early ages , who even raps about “the respect towards the elder and younger generation”, about “honouring your Mother language” and generally about the morale stuff. What a beautiful human nature!

Even though I was total gobsmacked by the rap part, the English subtitles for that particular part actually tell you what kind of man he is. It's great that you were singing along I do that with all his songs "that I can 😋". Before my town was closed for the stupid virus I was a cocktail server and I walked around singing this. To answer your question about keeping it to the classics, he has said in an interview, that he is trying to blend styles together.

I really like that Dimash took the performance and changed it to his personal concert. He used to sing songs from others now he really has his signature song which is also a pop style song. That makes him be able to have fun with his fans. I love him so much. What a great talent!

Viewers and listeners wanted him to do rap, but the opportunity didn't present itself with his other song choices. I'm not a fan of rap, but with Dimash, I support his choices. DKIFC/USA

As others mentioned already, the video about how Dimash and Master Tan discussed how to rework the song is quite interesting. Personally I don’t listen much to current pop music, so I don’t know that it’s a trend to insert rap. I was quite agreeably surprised when I first heard it, as it meshes nicely with the song overall. And I guess, Dimash is telling us that he can rap too. By the way, are you aware that Dimash is holding a solo concert in London on November 19? He is always experimenting (look at the backstage footage where he is explaining what he wants to do) and the original is amazing with his own background singing and he even pulled it out great live but I think he realized it's very impractical on stage - this is more suited for a live performance.
