Really love how the model answer is analysed and broken down for the viewers! Also, I would like to ask if a comma is needed between the word 'south' and 'there'? Hence, it will be 'To the south, there are two housing estates.'

The two pictures illustrate the Islip, the center of a small town as it is in the present, and its development design. It can be seen that the centre of town will be the construct of a ring road with contains some new buildings. Then, the reduction of the shops and the park. Currently, the town centre has the main road that on both sides has shops. To the northern area is the countryside. Then, to the southern area are the housing beside shops and the housing at the end fork. The school is located to the corner southwest and the park is to the southeast. In the future, the shops to the north side will be demolished to make way for the construction of a dual carriageway and some public facilities, such as the bus station, the shopping centre, the car park, and some new housing. The main road will reform into a pedestrian area. The shops to the south beside the main road will remain. The park will reduce its size, then will build new housing while the school will remain. Help me to check it. Thanks

this comment is a bit irrelevant, but still. it's 5:42 a.m - and I'm having my ielts actual exam in 7 hours. as you may notice, I'm not sleeping at the moment and watching video how to complete writing task 1. needless to mention, I've been sleeping only for more than 3 hours because lately I wake up for no reason at the middle of the night, probably due to anxiety. my insight is that my ielts journey was meant to be, in my point of view, not only in order to pass this exam and enter universities, but also in a way of self development. prehistory: I've been participating and winning in English language contests for many years in a row, and not surprising that my acquaintances, teachers, family expect from me 8.0 score and passing exam with flying colours. of course, it all exert certain pressure on me - so much money were spent on me, my preparation and the exam itself. even you, reading this may think that according to my words I have to get 7.0 at least. but I feel like I may not achieve it... though, the tomorrow is ahead and L, R, W are not started yet ( it's so hard for me to focus when I'm sleep deprived!! how...will I... I don't know.) so I'll go sleep, despite the fact that it's what I've been trying to do for the last 3 hours. 5:55 - make a wish...

The "green belt" in this context is the countryside. You know how the countryside signifies nature? More of the countryside would be converted during the process of redevelopment.
